Shannon, there is one time a team definitely wanted to see the Heat while LeBron was on the team. The 2013-14 San Antonio Spurs. They were so disappointed that they let Miami steal that ‘13 title that they publicly declared during the conference finals that they wanted the Heat. They would have obviously played whoever was in front of them, but they wanted Miami. They wanted revenge. They backed it up too to the tune of a 4-1 gentleman’s sweep and one of the most lopsided Finals in NBA history. They beat the brakes off of Miami.
True, but they didn't exactly play the same team as the year before. Dwade was a shell of himself by then with chronic knee injuries. It's amazing he was able to suit up at all in those Finals.

Mario Chalmers was always one of my favorite players. He played hard every night and was a VERY good defender.
And made tons of costly mistakes in huge moments.

It's just a difference in personality. LeBron wants to be liked by everybody. So he's going to go out there and try to still be nice while beating you. So people aren't necessarily going to "fear" him before actually going out there to face him. On the other hand, guys like Jordan and Kobe will take things personal, find things to be mad about, try to beat you down, and humiliate you while talking endless trash. Obviously, they are more than capable of backing up their trash talk as well. So of course, that lingers on mind a lot longer before and after.

Just to correct Shannon, Lebron did not break up the 2000's Pistons. The big 3 Celtics did because those same Pistons who lost to Lebron in the 07 ECF, were back in the conference finals the next year and Lebron wasn't. 08 was the last year the Pistons won a playoff series.
LeBron is all over social media and is friends with other players. Most friends are not scared of each other. Just a different time era in the league, everyone is friends vs everyone is an enemy. This is less about LeBron and just more about the era these players played in.

Honestly as a fan when Kobe or Jordan played against your team you almost knew they were gonna put a dagger in ya heart. I never had those moments from Lebrons teams. You knew if the games were close Kobe and Jordan were gonna will their team to victory. Lebron on the other hand got most of points during the course of the game but you weren’t on edge in the 4th quarter of a close game because Lebron wasn’t clutch.
