Always amazing to check out a limited Seiko model. For affordable watches limited Seiko is great option and pretty much a safe bet for a unique watch that will retain value.
4r35 automatic movement
Had no idea these Seikos existed. SCVE045 is kind of Flieger clear & easy to read without being a flieger. Also reminds me of the seiko (or timex) "railroad watch". For anyone with a parent or grandparent who doesn't see so well, these are perfect for low-vision folks! Forgive me for saying so, but this line makes me think of a more expensive, limited seiko 5 line. great vid, RR!
Beautiful piece. Thanks for introducing this. I LOVE the date window... perfectly located and executed. I don't know why more brands don't locate the date window at 6 o'clock since it doesn't interrupt the flow of the dial.
Yeah, I didn’t even talk about that. For sure that is great location for date.
I remember those Spirit Dot models, I think I was interested in the red. Haven't thought about that one in a long time.

Sometimes I get in a mood and will search up part numbers. There are so many models out we have never seen. Seiko is crazy with models.

I had this watch on a Fluco Vigo black bund strap when I had one .It was the best look for this style Pilot's watch . Kind of miss it , but not really.

such a wonderful dial, a really nice watch, Seiko wont make 40mm watches anymore, so i cant buy it even though it looks so nice.

I sold 3 of the orange SCVE007, 1 blue SCVE005 and 1 red SCVE004 last year. Had I known you were looking for one, I could've hooked you up. Now the prices have gone so far up it is not worth sourcing to resell anymore.
