To all who thinks Seiko is doing a bad job doing these special limited releases and saying the prices has gone up, well wake up, everything has gone up nowadays. I'm not happy about the pricing but i just know that i won't be buying because it's not in my price range but don't bash a watch because you can't afford it.

Was able to snatch the other TicTac version (with faux vintage lume) when it released. Unfortunately thought it looked way too flat and boring. Wish i had gotten this one instead. The applied indiced make all the difference. Shame about the movement though.

Dude a 4r35! Loving everything about it till I heard that. Come on seiko give us movements that are worth of the pricetag. This should have a 6r35 minimum and honestly this is rediculous for 500 you should get something equivalent to a miyota 9015.
Venus Dee You are mistaken. This is a JDM model, and Seiko in Japan always place the buckle / clasp on the part of the strap coming from the 6 versus the 12.
I love this model, but my guess is it's way overpriced. In my opinion, there are too many great microbrands for Seiko to start jacking the prices. They have way more competition today than when they did then.
Actually, this is the reason to jack the price. They already have a loyal base. Competition would be pointless. Just rebrand themselves as a more expensive brand and run off name sake. This would garner more profit. They'd have relatively the same sales regardless and make more money.

I agree! $650 is too much money for a crappy 4R35 low beat inaccurate movement in a very plain looking watch on a rubbish factory strap. There are many much better Swiss watches out there for the same money. I think Seiko has lost the plot and are charging too much for their watches. The best value Japanese brand out there is Orient. You get a lot for your money. I paid $200 for a Kamasu which is amazing value for a 200m divers watch with a screw down crown and sapphire crystal. Its F6922 Orient movement is much more accurate than all the 4R and 6R series Seiko movements. I've owned quite a few modern Seikos so I know from experience. They are are complete rip off these days.
Seiko together with other Brands are so stupid its shocking. Making Limited Editions of watches that should be in the normal collection. Same like Zodiac with their Aerospace. Why should I be interested? Why somebody even make videos of it and get paid... the watches are fast gone like stuff from supreme. So a video about it, is outdated the time it is posted. Stupid.

This is more of a tictac limited, brands can get seiko to do limited runs. Seiko didn’t do this, tictac did

That's how the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) come - my JDM Seikos and Orient have the straps oriented this way too.
