    Excellent tutorial! Love the way you showed how to make the template and how to turn the bag right-side out.

    Thank you Annie. I have made a full sized one in the past which I gifted to a friend but love them as project bags. Love them all! Well done!💕

    Just beautiful Annie I’ve made something similar years ago but much larger for hand knitting projects and I love them, the small ones are super cute and very useful. Thank you for sharing. x 💐

      Thanks Jen, yes it's funny we kin dof do a similar thing with plastic carriers hanging up in our store cupboard, but these are much prettier and more eco-friendly of course! :)

    Thank you Annie for your video. These are so nice and useful. Great that you demonstrated the template so we can size it. I could see a line of these on hooks in a craft room with all those little things ,perhaps in different sizes that you need but can never store nicely and that rattle around in a bigger drawer all mixed up. As you guess by my comment I already have something in mind 😂

    I'm very glad you showed us how to make the template for this bag. A pair of hemostats could be useful to pull the handles through but a safety pin works too. 😊 Pulling the bag open from the lower edges is truly magical! I love how honest you are about the boo-boo's too. The patchwork bag is adorable.

    Love them and can see them becoming quite addictive... the patchwork one is my favourite and I would definitely add 'doodads' on one. I've got some of those scrap bags and am itching to use them, so thanks for the inspiration on this entire series :)

    Ohh, I'd like to try these. Being new to sewing I don't know the different hand stitches you mentioned but I could sew it together on my new to me machine..... options ❤ 😊
    Thank you
    (And i haven't forgotten about the material I mentioned I just haven't figured out messages on Discord yet)

      @artyfartyannie  Před 3 měsíci

      Hi Shell, of course we've connected on Discord since you left this comment (I'm a bit behind) - the basic stitches I used were just a straight running stitch, and a back stitch (much quicker to do a machine stitch for those parts). If you want to add decorative stitching, think I just used a Y stitch and a blanket stitch - there are lots of tutorials out there, but I would suggest if you want to expand your hand stitching repertoire, check out @createandcraftwithchristine here on CZcams, she has a whole Dictionary of Stitches playlist. Please do share some pics in Discord if you make one of these, I'd love to see :)

    So pleased to see this pattern for the knot bag. I have a pattern for a full-size one from my mum’s collection which must date from the 1940s! Some years ago I tried making it ….. failed - got in an awful tangle! Now, with your clear instructions, I might succeed! Thank you.
