I definitely agree. I really loved that long camera design, just makes it feel different. I hope they do come back with this design maybe in a year or two.
while i agree the s10 was beautiful and probably my favorite design of a samsung phone, this is kinda the opposite direction that smartphone designs are going. samsung is going for a flay screen, rven thin bezels, and brand recognition with the new camera layout. i respect it. i do really think the s10 looks amazing.
It's a pretty nice alternative to phones like the Galaxy a15 or a25, I'd go as far as saying I like it better than the a55, but there is no reason not to get the s21 ultra or s22 ultra if you can afford the galaxy a55, if this phone was still supported the s10e or s20 fe is available for under $100. Now that samsung with the start of the s24 you have 7 years supoort you will be able to get a $100 phone that's on the latest version, with most of the flagship experience and still have 2-3 more year of support left.
Despite all the cons and it not having 60hz, dont forget, this phone is already 5 plus years old and can still hold up in 2024 considering its age, im not even complaining man...
I usually change my phone every 2 or 3 years, always top of the range, but I've had the s10+ for 5 years, it's the only phone that with 5 generations ahead of me still doesn't choke! Every year I go through the dilemma of switching to the new Galaxy S... And now I'm really looking forward to having the S24+, but HONESTLY, I don't need it yet, S10+ continues to handle everything!
I bought this phone in 2019 when I initially wanted to buy my forst Iphone. But the specs of this phone were much better and it was way cheaper so I just couldn't do it. I bought this phone and it was so ahead of it's time. The display is insane, the camera is very good (4k 60fps video is the same as todays phones). The stereo speakers where relatively new at the time, 8gb RAM that you could never utilize ever (That's the RAM of a Standard PC). The built in screen finger print was firstly introduces with the s10 and to this day it is the way to go for unlocking samsung phones. The 60hz display was completely normal at the time and to this day it's not even a "bad" frame rate it's just not insanely good. The processor was also very good at the time and it sill is now. If you're an adult and use social media/whatsapp etc and don't play GTA or whatever on your phone you will never utilize it. If my s10 wasn't slowly dying (Battery, Mic, Speaker and the glass at the back are broken) because I wasn't really being careful with it, I wouldn't even buy a new phone. But now after 5 years I will have to. It's def one of the phones that set a milestone for mobile phone developement. Now I'm currently looking at the pixel 8 pro and the s23 ultra/s24 ultra. Maybe something smaller, I don't like the big phones that much.
@@user-zh9oo5ko5y It is currently my favorite. Only thing is the battery. 3900mAh is not great. Also Pixel 8 has longer update support and some nice AI features. Not to mention stock android. But I'm just so unhappy with the google CPU. It gets so warm and is so inefficient. 4500mAh vs s23 3900mAh and they have similar battery life. It would annoy me to know that my phone is basically eating the Power instead of using it efficiently. Google Design is better though. But all in all, I think the better CPU in the samsung does it for me.
You can replace the battery for pretty cheap, get a case and new screen protector and bam wham new phone feel. Not to mention not turning your old phone to e-waste

Been using this phone for about 4 years. Just a small issue with its own camera app. Too laggy…third party camera apps are fine. I dropped it from the 2nd floor a few days ago and it survived. But the back plate is cracked.
I had a S10 since it came out and the USB port died slowly and my contract allowed me to buy a new phone phone so i got me a S24 2 weeks back.....And since i dont care much about phones i found out wenn i had the S24 on the table it has no micro sd slot......... So i decited not to use that phone and sell it,then i brought me a Galaxy A54 as it was all i needed big clear screen massive battery decent processor and micro sd slot...........But i used the A54 for a week with a case and without but i came to a conclusion........Its big heavy and bulky. So this evening i brought me a working S10 on ebay with cracked screen and a new battery and back cover..........And i go take my old motherboard out of my old S10 and replace it with the good used motherboard from ebay and put new battery in put all my data back and i sell the S24 and keep the A54 as spare...................Wtf selling a flagship for ripp off prices with no SD slot. I wont buy a new phone without a micro SD slot.

Snapdragon 855 is very sufficient for daily needs and for games I play PUBG with ultra HDR graphics, for graphics above it is also possible but it will use more battery since this smartphone was released in 2019. The battery life has of course decreased a little but overall this cellphone can provide a sensation flagship in the entry level price class with stereo speakers, NFC, dynamic AMOLED screen, IP 68, etc.

I have been using the galaxy s10 for a long time . Its still going good in 2024.The design and usability is topnotch. The camera quality can still compete with all the latest models in 2024. I used to have the s10 from 2019 up until this year, tho I broke it but i have it in repair, this phone was flawless and timeless and it's also fast considering it only has 60hz, performance wise, like i said it's fast, the processor can handle mostly anything but not all the newer and heavier games ofc, but it's good when you are all about the basic stuffs and socials, the camera is still pretty good, not like the newer galaxy model but the camera is still impressive, it shoots good videos too, the stabilization is still good. Is it recommended? For me no, though it's cheap nowadays but it doesn't support any updates from samsung it's only android 12 with one ui 4.1, besides you can buy a newer galaxy model like the s22 or the s23, just save up a little more money and you won't regret it:)

I changed the battery (not in official retailer/servicer) but there is no improvement at all Sometimes battery percentages drop like seconds and I am lucky if I have 2 hours at most screen on time. What should I do? Is it battery? Is it something that drain battery fast? I don't play heavy games and I use it mostly for web browsers I hear you saying 8 hours screen on time... man I would be happy even with half of that
Sorry mate you brought a used device which is 5 years old of course it will have cooked processor and components try optimising like using power saver mode, low brightness reducing screen quality,maybe some app is running in background or getting it clean from inside by some trusted person (not recommended as it will maybe lose its water resistance but u already have changed it battery so I don't see any problem) and at last buy a powerbank Hope it helps
@@manamelter914 thanks for advice I use dark theme, brightness is at low I should check that with cleaning it from inside, but also I doubt about quality of the battery itself the main problem that I face is that battery drain significantly when is idle 100% battery will drain sometimes to 80% for 7-8 hours during night.. with barely 4-5 notifications during that time via wifi and i have nothing on screen (time, weather, wallpaper something that possibly could drain battery)

No. I have it and its not smooth, no android 14 and it as less than 500k on antutu and the iphone x/xr is more powerful and the s10 lags on games (ex : roblox,fortnite... and more) and emulation is not good (even worst with exynos) I recommend the galaxy s21 or s20 fe.... OR the a35/a55 and also the camera (in low light conditions) sucks + no 120hz
Im still using mine, it's smooth, of course no android 14 but still has a ton of useful features that other phones doesn't have, no lags in CODM, can run 1080p psp god of war. So i don't know what the heck is wrong with your phone. Great display, design, compact and price. I don't care about antutu score lmao, and iphone x and xr doesn't have a superwide angle lense,sd card slot, 3.5mm jack and has a giant notch so yea, oh and the xr has midrange screen. S20fe is a great choice tho ,I have to agree.
The S10 was the greatest phone design ever! Thin, light, comfortable sloped edges. I wish Samsung would go back to this design.

There is no 4k camera . My camera shir compared to my friend with an iPhone 10. It's a good thing I don't have the s10 anymore.

S10 series were the only phones that made me convert from iPhone to Android. And I got S22 Ultra as an upgrade until now 👍

Battery is OK but if you use mobile data the battery drains really quick.

The S10 is not a gaming phone. Asus ROG phones are better for gaming
