By the end of this video you should have enough information so you don't end up buying a fake Samsung Galaxy S10 believing that you are buying an original one.
A fake Samsung phone doesn't offer the performance of the original one, no quality control, no warranty. An original Samsung Galaxy S10 will be better in every way. Clones are not recommended!

The accessory color, with the real phone at least, depends on what color you get your phone in. I got a black S10+ with black accessories, the other colors come with white. Just one more thing to look for with clones

It would be too late for those who may have bought one on line and discovered it's a fake. They would probably have 'no returns' policy. It's best to buy physically in a shop so u can really appraise it carefully before paying over the money
You are right iam going to buy s10e tomorrow for $150 dollars from phones owner the price is okay compared with others one at least I can see the phone in person Otherwise buying on line you could get a fake one

Is there a 128gb storage ceramic version? I want to know because i have one new but have problem with my usb type c port it doesn't plug in correctly but the phone charges, connecting doesn't work, so i want to know if my phone is fake but i think it isn't, as far i know ceramic versions are 512gb and 1 tb i think?

I kind of liked how the fake one has a metal sim tray, the legitimate (plastic) one always felt like it would break easily. Is there any chance you could weigh the two phones? I think the fake will be lighter due to all the plastic, but they could have put small weights inside it if they are clever.

Can clones be used for things like pokemon go? Someone is selling one on Facebook for £30 and I just need a cheap android for that as an alt. Not needing camera etc. What about GPS and location? Does that work OK? 🤷♂️

What if my box was fake but the phone was exactly the same as the real one. Even the headphones and charger were the same as the original phones.
Even with the name brand there will be some variants. For example depending on the color of device you purchase , your accessories will very in terms of color. A big give away on a fake is the camera.

I bought an S10 off eBay for $360 AUD, originally they were $1399 AUD when released in 2019. I used CPU-z to see if it was the real deal or not & sure enough, It's genuine. Pick one up while you can, new S10s will be discontinued when the S24 goes public

Nice video, thanks. Clearly some of these details might be hard to be sure of with only one phone in hand. Also, you didn't mention it but to me the clearest difference is in the quality of the making, like rounds and chamfers on holes or buttons. They look way slicker and more precisely milled. Even from "afar" (the video doesn't show close shots of all angles) one can also spot how the genuine one looks silky while the counterfeit was more coarsely manufactured.

I bought a brand new black S10 in its original unopened box several months ago. I never even contemplated that it could possibly be fake until this video popped up as a suggestion. I appreciate Redskull's effort BUT there ARE differences in the phone packaging depending on where they were manufactured. For instance- the S10 logo on the box mine came in is neither white or black- it is silver. Also, it seems that white accessories came with white phones and black accessories came with black phones. My flash is definitely more yellow than it is white- Still most likely a difference to where it was manufactured than anything else. My accessories were all packaged in black board stock and not plastic wrap. One other thing to be wary of is the AKG ear buds that come with the phone. There are several videos here to help pick out fakes vs the real thing. Lastly- ALWAYS register your devices with the manufacturer. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt that Samsung would allow a bad serial number to be registered. I will give credit to Redskull for pointing out the OBVIOUS differences between a fake and real S10. The front screen of the fake phone he used is a dead giveaway of a phony- but don't use any one thing as gospel that your phone is a fake.
But what can you do once you've bought the thing? Getting your money back, etc is going to be a massive amount of work... How can you ensure you're getting a genuine device BEFORE you buy it? Especially if you're buying it online....
If you buy something from Ebay for example...Ebay will refund you if you get a fake product

Thank you RedSkull, I nearly got ripped off. When I put "Samsung phone" in the Wish.com browser it came up with S10 phones and they were really cheap so I bought one. Then my friend queried if it was the real deal, so then I started to get worried and found your video. I put in a complaint within 24 hours to PayPal and in all fairness I did get my money back. So thankful for your good video.

Nah bro. The one that you bought from wish would have been WORSE. The bezels would have been bigger than this fake one. And the quality would've been much worse.
Moral of the story: Buy stuff from wish if you desperately need to.
