If this phone had at least 90hz, I would’ve still kept my S10+. Was a really good phone. Liked the pill, punch hole, glass back, & flat camera.
The absence of a high refresh rate on this phone is a persistent concern for me. Considering Samsung's expertise in display manufacturing and the fact that the OnePlus 7 Pro from the same year offered a 90Hz refresh rate, there seems to be no valid reason for the omission of a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate on the Samsung device. The subsequent release of the OnePlus 7 Pro with a 90Hz refresh rate further fueled expectations that the Note 10+ would feature a higher refresh rate. However, it appears that Samsung's internal policies have historically restricted the introduction of new features to the Galaxy Note series, with the exception of the S Pen. Despite this limitation, the device remains a compelling alternative to current mid-range smartphones.
@@Shan_Shah totally agree! They def dropped the ball, with not having at least 90hz on the S10 series…would’ve been their greatest release, had they not dropped the ball. - I think the S23U, is now, peak Samsung!
@_WF23 It appears that the S20 series was marketed as a significant upgrade which is why they left high refresh rate for the s10 series, but it encountered several issues, including focusing problems and the absence of an adaptive refresh rate, resulting in a display burning issue The camera design was not aesthetically pleasing, and the Exynos variant of the phone presented additional challenges. While the S21 series may be considered a downgrade in some aspects, Samsung made a strategic decision to significantly reduce the price, unlike Apple. It is worth noting that Samsung has adopted a higher pricing strategy for its flagship devices, charging $999 for the entry-level model, which is comparable to the ultra flagship price offered by other brands. Considering these factors, I would recommend opting for the Galaxy S21 or S22. Although the S10 performs well even with the A55 processor, it may be more advantageous to invest in a device like the S22 Ultra or S23, which fall within a similar price range.

Yeah..same here mate..i love collecting old flagships..since it comes cheap..but gosh SD 855 and above sure still pretty usable even today standards..currently on Sharp Aquos R5G..still pretty smooth..

@@frAsji09 S10 was definitely a peak if you wanted the audio jack, however I feel like everything that came out after S21 has been pretty much the same as S21. Like the only major difference between S21 and S22 is th stylus. The S21 actually has more RAM than S22.

I had S8, S9 and then S10 and now S21 FE. S10 was the BIG upgrade of everything. Memory up from 4GB to 8GB, Storage up from 64GB to 128GB, processor 415K Antutu, from 1 to 3 cameras, battery up from 3000 to 3400 mAh. No 5G, no 120Hz and no more software support. I still have my S10 as a backup phone. S10 was the greatest upgrade so far.
I love older flagship phones they're beautiful fast & cheap yet not!
Snap 855 was a beast in the day, and will still keep up with the new midrangers at $300

Still using mine daily. Although the battery is pretty much done for. Other than that, it's been a great phone, and still never slows down with anything I do with it.

I have the S10+ snapdragon version and honestly it is a very solid phone today, I just did a battery change and installed LMC with an xml and honestly the phone still takes really good photos
Also just a quick correction, the zoom isn't 3x optical, it's 2x optical

bought mine April 2024 as my 2nd back up, lurrrv it, it does other stuff that my apple can't.
I've used an S10+ since June 12019...Unfortunately, last week, i dropped it and the screen cracked....I've bought another S10+ (refurbished ofc) for ~220 USD and now i'm good to go for another 5 years lol...The cracked one will be used only for DeX.
Love my s24 plus awesome battery life and very fast.
saving up to buy this phone, not this the s10+. im only short on the equivalent of something like 40$ right now (im not from thr us) so ill hopefukly be getting it very soon. ill specifically request the snapdragon version becuase theres more of thoss on the market now but theyre a bit nore expensive

Hey! Do you think it's worth it to buy a Galaxy Note 9 in 2024? I found a brand new one (no accessories) for the same price as A34/A54 here in Brazil at R$1300 (about $260 USD). I've been thinking about it since I've never used a S pen phone before and was thinking of trying it, though I believe I can get a better specs phone if I pay a little more.
Btw refurbished and used market here is kind of a big scam so I can't really go for those options.

@@chriswright8074 I'm mostly worried about performance. I'd like to play some Nintendo switch in it. I've seen some run in a S20 FE, though I'm not sure if the note 9 runs it as well. I've seen the Antutu results and the S20 fe was scoring 700k while the note would score about 400k (couldnt find the result for the snapdragon version of the Note 9 tho, only Exynos). That's what I'm afraid of.
Did you use any new phone i mean s21-s24 or something similar, i mean flagships. If Yes, you will struggle a bit because you use very fast phone while note is bit aged and won't be as fast. I mean its pretty good phone but i own s23 ultra and s10+ and oh boy s23 is like ferrari while when i sit at s10+ it feels like downgrading to some bmw but still good 😅
@@frAsji09 Nope. Unfortunately it's quite absurd to buy a more recent flagship here. I've only had Motorola phones, a Moto G4 play and now I'm using a Moto G7 play. Both midrangers of 2016 and 2019 respectively.
Phones have devolved since the S10. I'm still using the S8 and I'm simply not willing to purchase a new phone without a headphone jack, Apple was dumb to remove it in 2016 and other companies were even dumber to follow their lead.
Now they either lose sales or people look to their cheaper models that still come with a headphone jack. Since those cheaper models don't have wireless charging there is simply no reason for me to upgrade.
If I am forced to replace my phone the only option if I want to keep all my current features is the Sony Xperia 1 V, which is quite expensive at $1,200.
Why is that so important if you can use an adapter
@@markoroncevic because that's one more thing you have to keep at hand. Imagine if every time you needed to plug your phone in to charge you had to have an adapter, maybe most of the time it's not an issue because you use wireless charging, but maybe wireless charging isn't available like in your car or you want to get a faster charge.
@Tialian why would I even want to use my phone while it's charging, stuff like that is such unnecessary and destructive.
