    Charging fully might degrade the battery, but 20% loss is not worth it in a long run, you'll only save a tiny bit.
    If you paid full amount then use it fully :)
    You'll have to replace it either way even, if you save that 20% it won't be noticeable i've tried it.
    Oh and exynos got great optimization now, it's more battery efficient than snapdragon, and antutu is higher too, so you're all good

      @TimeHeim  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Great to hear that they managed to improve the optimization! Now I usually still have 40% when I get home. When the battery starts to struggle to get through the day, I will of course remove the chargung limit

    Hey Time Heim, very nice video. Greetings from Germany.
    I am currently facing the same decision. At the moment I am also using the S10e since 2019 and I still love it because of the same things you mentioned in your video.
    Would you really recommend switching? What did you do with your S10e, did you keep it or sell it?
    Do you ever miss your old S10e? :D
    I don't know what to do because the only thing that's really an issue with my S10e is the security updates and the battery. I can't use it for a whole day. I always have to take a powerbank with me....
    I hope you can give me some quick advice after using the S24 for a few months now.

      Hallo! Thank you for your comment. At first my plan was to sell my s10e. I'm trying to spend less time on social media, so I've deleted instagram and TikTok from my s24, and I've ended up using my s10e as "social media consuption device" when I'm at home! :)
      There is no big problem with the s10e, but now I notice all minor inconveniences, such as Spotify lagging much more, camera takes long to open...
      If you're also trying to use your phone less, if you keep using the s10e, the bad battery life might automatically force you to do so haha. What I like most about the s24 is the zoom camera, much improved video quality, and the overall smoothness. Feel free to ask more questions, I will make sure to answer quicker next time!
      Grüsse Time Heim

    I currently still use my Galaxy S7, still working for me but as of now I am eyeing the S24. Years ago I was thinking of getting an S10e though (to get as a secondary testing phone alongside an S24), still highly considering it to see if I can transfer my S7's microSD card apps to one!

    • @TimeHeim
      @TimeHeim  Před měsícem +1

      I don't really know how the sd card could affect the transfer. Maybe you can transfer from the sd card to a computer. Would be best to contact customer support to make sure you don't accidentally lose your data from the card!!

      @@TimeHeim No worries, I already backed up the SD card by transferring all the files to my computer

    Do u see a big difference with display size,like is the s10e to small for video consumption? And which fingerprint sensor do you prefer in screen or side mounted?

    • @TimeHeim
      @TimeHeim  Před měsícem

      The display is a bit larger on the s24, but the s10e has a great display too, and the smaller size is no issue.
      The fingerprint readers are great on both phones. They are just as quick, though the s10e does fail a bit more often than the s24, but it's very good nonetheless. The underscreen figerprint looks much cooler, but I liked the functionality of swiping down the fingerprint sensor of the s10e to reach the control panel. Excuse me for the late answer, I hope it helps you decide!

    I do love the Samsung Galaxy S24 but the price is expensive I saw on the internet , so it's okay if I use a Samsung s10 e in 2024 And the next next year that will come in the future?

    • @TimeHeim
      @TimeHeim  Před 12 dny

      Use it as long as it works well enough for you. Just be keep in mind that you don't get any security updates. The difference wasn't mind blowing, but I'm glad I got the S24 now, especially because I got a good deal. Also just got the Galaxy buds FE for an equivalent of around 50USD! I definitely recommend them!

    bro, I have a Samsung A52 and I want to replace it with a Samsung S10e, what do you recommend?

    • @TimeHeim
      @TimeHeim  Před 3 měsíci +2

      If you want good build quality and a good camera, I think the S10e is still a good option, though it's unfortunate that it doesn't get any more software updates. Also check if a used Galaxy S21FE, iPhone 11, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7a fits your budget. You can also buy a new phone from Redmi or Poco for example, but I think the cameras probably aren't as good as on older flagship phones. I hope this helps. Good luck finding a new phone!

      I was always pleased with the camera of the s10e. In good lighting, the pictures look very similar to those of the s24. In bad lighting and when zooming there is a clear difference. The s10e is still very good though
