Great version of the song. Though this is a totally different chord structure, is more like some bobdylanish/southcaliforniaearly 70´s -sound. But the man who wrote the song has all the rights to alter the song.

I dont know the original key, but i use capo on the 3 fret. and the chords ara D, C on the verse, chorus G, D, C nothing more, you can try it
