So tragically, still more relevant than ever. There is a holding pen in Matamoros for asylum seekers returned from the US, one of Trump's innovations. People living in squalor for years, awaiting the chance to enter our country and apply for asylum. Across from Brownsville, Texas, just as described in the song. It's 15 years later, and things are worse than before.
