Love this technique! I just may have to try it myself! Thank you.
Fantastic work. Love it
I am demonstrating these inking techniques again at The Art Shed on April 13th, from 2-4pm. Come along and see the whole thing for yourself! I am also teaching Inking at the Arts Tree classroom in two day workshops on April 15th and 16th, May 11th and 12th, July 6th and 7th, and August 10th and 11th. Check the Arts Tree website for details and book yourself in!
El resultado de tanto trabajo es PERFECT!
Amazing creativity with the use of ink and other media. Great work Manuel.
Great imagination and originality. Great talent. That's what being an artist is about. Thank you.

It was useful and I loved it so much
These snippets are from a demonstration at The Art Shed, Brisbane. You are right, it is not meant as an instructional video, though I will be working on making some of those! More demos and ink classes coming up at the Art Shed and elsewhere in 2013- I am a week away from graduating and will soon have time to teach more!
Maravilhoso!!!👏👏👏😍🇧🇷
It is Chromacryl Texture paste, in a clip-seal sandwich bag. Hope that helps!
I was holding my breathe when she did the water spray to mix the color. Wow.
It is Art Spectrum Extender- made to go with their Art Spectrum Liquid Spectrum Inks.
Beautiful 😍😍😍
MERCI !!!!!!
Beautiful
This is sooo inspiring, wish I could hear what you are saying above the music. Can you do another and where is your work for sale?
Original for sure. I like
wow!
Super joli !
Art Spectrum, the liquid spectrum range. I had the same question and this is what she answered me ;-)
Thanks !! :)
Love this, just beautiful! What is the white product that you used to outline with? Thank you.
Are you using a syringe for the fine lines, and where do you get them? I love the texture you achieve from your work, exactly what I am trying with my art.
What kind of ink was used and do you just simply drop it onto a normal canvas? How does it stick to the canvas thanks~!
I bought the Liquitex Flo-aid and Airbrush Medium too! It works perfectly. But you might want to add 1:5 water to the flo-aid medium as it is very concentrated. And also both product is quite expensive over here for a small bottle. :)
Lovely work and interesting techniques....I was wondering what type/brand of inks you used here.
:) BRAVO !!!
神!
Where can I find Deb Gillett "how to" videos on texture painting for beginners? TY
It's awesome! which kind of glue do you use?
Hi De...do you prepare your canvas with say modge podge first? Thank you! Liz
wow very beautiful good job
can you please tell how much time it took to fully dry .??
Keep an eye on my website for news about workshops and videos :) 2013 is the year of teaching for me now that I am finishing my studies :)
OMG .. this is really impassive
I enjoyed your video, but the music was so distracting I could not catch what you were saying. Your work is beautiful.
a small bottle of ink, cost around $5-7 ...did she mix a 1:5 amount of water with the ink? Or? Is it acrylic ink?
Thank you! :D
Fantastic! Wish there was no music............
LOL yes! Couple hours of tedium followed by 30 seconds of OMG AMAZINGNESS!!!
Looked interesting but I couldn't hear her voice because of the music.
Wish I could hang that piece in my living room
Lo que resulta al final nadie lo sabe
Do me a classes pls???
Творчество как и в жизни не знаешь что получится в конце
The music is to loud and you can not hear her.
Good Video. Audio Instructions were obscured by music. Cut the music!!
Carne de membrillo
So they don't actually SELL the inks she uses in the artshed website you promote? Very strange.
Perhaps the music in the video is louder than the talking in the background on purpose.
I'm not the artist, so I'm not an authority on the matter... it's just a hunch based on logic & some reason.
The video was taken at a workshop. It is not presented, here, as a whole. This leads me to think that THIS video is just a short snippet to whet the imagination & advertise the artist's classes = it is not meant to instruct = talking in background is meant to be exactly that... in the background.
Very strange. Can't hear because of the music. Nothing is explained.
poor Michelangelo!
Love De Gillett but hate the music
This project will be ok for kids at art summer camp at Michaels Stores and in the end just trash it !!! lol
Great work of art! You can try a glue gun for those raised lines. It works wonders!
Cant hear anything you are saying for the music...have no idea what you are using...sorry but this is a terrible video....
Great art ruined by horrible music that wasn't needed as all it did was stop you hearing what was being said.
wow!
