This APS-C LENS is FIRE 🔥 - Sigma 23mm F1.4 DC DN C lens review

In this video, I am introducing the Sigma 23mm F1.4 DC DN C lens, which is designed for latest APS-C sensor cameras. Besides its beautiful image quality, this lens is relatively lightweight and compact. The 23mm focal length is perfect for crop sensors, as it provides an angle of view equivalent to 35mm when converted to full frame, which is perhaps the most versatile focal length of all, at least in my opinion.

I have a lot of doubt between the 16mm 1.4 and the 23mm 1.4, I have a 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 and 50mm OSS on my a6500, I don't know which one will be better to complement my kit.
Can you help me with this doubt?

Depends on what you want to shoot. But in this specific case I would probably choose the 16mm but eventually would get the 23mm as well.

This lens is fabulous, until you need to pull focus and you discover it is appalling. Not just bad, it is hideously bad. So while it can technically pull focus with the lens, the focus breathing is so bad, the footage is unusable.
The Viltrox 23mm f1.4 has many technical faults but the much lower price, aperture ring, and lack of focus breathing makes it the much better choice for video. For stills photography the Sigma is a better choice, despite the price.

Honestly speaking, the 16mm f1.4 by Sigma should be replaced by a wider single focal length lens, maybe an 11mm at f2.0 DC DN will do, and if designed at par with the 30mm f1.4 with 58mm filter diameter, that will garner my kudos
