    Thanks for this nice information!!
    I have a question:
Approximately, what could be the increase (in %) of the dry strength specifications using cationic starch respect native starch? Thank you professor.

I would not expect any difference. The starch supplies -OH groups and the -OH groups contribute to the additional strength. The more starch there is in the sheet, the more -OH groups there are and so the greater the dry strength. So there should be a direct relationship between starch content and additional strength
However If you consider the starch added to the stock, there will be a difference. If you add a small amount of cationic starch then it will all stick to the fibre and you will get the corresponding strength.
If you add the same quantity of native starch, SOME, will stick to the fibres, and some will go down to the effluent plant. That which sticks to the fibres will contribute to the strength increase, the rest will be wasted
