When each Stick reaches their end point during the last parkour course, each timer stops at the same time (1.59.29). This means that they all tied when they weren't there to get in each other's way as they did before, and are technically all on an even playing field. Maybe King and Purple knew this and realized that with their equal abilities, combined with their competitive tendencies, the Sticks would tie enough times that they would need a tiebreaker and could eventually be separated. The parkour challenge was an amazingly fitting choice for a trap, not only due to the high chance of success (for King and Purple), but also because it seems so innocent, and the Sticks would easily and willingly partake.
Edit: So the timers aren't actually accurate to their time (this was obvious since the whole "everyone wins" is meant to distract them), but the "winning" time is an arbitrary number. What we now know from AvM in Real Time, Red got there first, Second and Green nearly tied, then Yellow, and Blue came last. Since Red left first, then Green, Second, Blue, and Yellow, all this means is that Yellow was faster than Blue and Green is faster than Second.
The thing is, this makes sense, but yellow seems reaaaally sloppy at parkour. He falls over multiple times, and is shown to get nearly caught on multiple occassions.
Maybe yellow's just really quick at failing or something

i love how, despite the lack of dialogue, you can really see their personalities. yellow recognized the command blocks, and used them to escape. tsc decided to see what happened when they put the beacons together, and used that to completely break it. green decided to build instead of using what was already there, and also used how purple flew out to figure out how to escape. you can also see that orange rules through fear, unlike how purple ruled the villagers by giving them what they wanted. purple puts their safety above others, and will lie to or abandon others to guarantee said safety, even if it hurts the only people who could consider them a friend. while orange hasnt had much screen time so far (i havent finished watching, but i think that changes in future episodes), you can definitely see a desire for control, even if it means everyone fears them. i cant wait to finish watching the eps that are all ready out, and to see where the series will go from there!

I love how each colour had a different idea of how to break the system relating to each of their personalities: the second coming is lax and decides to just move the beacon, yellow is technical and noticed the chain command block, whereas green is observant and noticed details to use to their advantage

I find that touching. Purple didn't have to do that, even though it's just a mob with less complex programming compared to the stick figures which Purple could have let the pig fall but he didn't, and he did that for Red and doesn't expect anything in return, saving the pig wasn't even part of the plan yet Purple did it anyway. Even before Purple's backstory was revealed, Purple wasn't that bad compared to King Orange and The Dark Lord.
Sometimes it's these small acts of good that really show the true character underneath. If only Purple had realized that he never needed his father's approval or anybody's, he never needed to prove himself to anybody, he was already special on his own..
That's so true, he's special on his own and he's a good boy. He's actually my second favorite after I watched AvM series, since way back then. Seeing his backstory made me want to hug him so bad.
@@alex4nette I blame his father, or more theoritically: his animator for Purple's traumatic childhood really. (I'm looking back on how the Chosen One was treated by Alan like a slave. So Purple probably was treated similarly.) I'm hoping Purple gives up the staff or at least somehow deletes it from existence.

You know it's good when you can accurately tell what a person is thinking and saying even though they don't have a face. 13:24 Green here is furious and just wants answers. He's not playing bad cop or mocking him. He's angry and I can almost hear him saying " *PURPLE!* *WHAT. THE. HELL. IS THIS AND WHERE'S THE OTHERS!* " because of his body language. He's just moving in a choppy movement when he throws his hands down like that.

@@BrunoMaricFromZagreb Seemingly the piglins have a reduced AI, since normally without tagged gold, they would attack, but in this, that AI is ignored entirely / less robotic then when they were introduced before. I wouldn't say Purple was forced into it, but moreso was promised unimaginable power (And likely a chance to restore his own power in his world)
Think of it, while with a command block you can control most things, it has limits. Having power over MC itself can likely give the ability to overwrite that code in it's entirety (Bending the world towards your will sort of trope).
With this in mind, Big orange likely will betray Purple -- it's an inevitability pulled many times in other shows, and Big Orange likely will get control over MC itself, albeit probably not for long if not used wisely.
