I love how Red is given a chance to prove himself in this one. Yellow has redstone, Blue's got potions and farming, Green has building and music, SC (Orange) is the best leader, but Red has is good with animals and food (which overlaps with Blue a bit), probably just because he was antagonist in AvM 1. Showing he's actually great at being a Team Leader is so satisfying after him just being "Pig Guy" for so long. Adding "Yellow Team" gives this a show without overlapping with SC's role. The unique monster abilities and Red wielding the "block scepter" in the final fight is just AWESOME. good one!

Honestly I never new that Willcraft was the one who started monster school all along... If I remember correctly I've seen alot of monster school videos before I discovered Willcraft. When I watched one of his popular videos it felt like it had so much quality and effort compared to some I watched. Thats how I got invested into it.
i really love the detail of how when the gold block get replaced with the netherite one, the staff gets noticeably heavier and is wielded much more like a warhammer instead of a staff

I really hope Willcraft sees and acknowledges this, his monster school works truly have touched the hearts of many, maybe even Alan’s too if this was based off it.
i hate to be a downer, but Willcraft hates monster school now. everyone kept hounding him to do the series again when it stopped, then when monster school became cringe everyone kept hounding him on what he thought of the newer ones. He is really done with seeing or hearing about monster school

I've noticed in your videos that you often like to use visual effects to indicate how powerful an attack is before it actually affects the enemies. However, nobody can really sense that sense of power.
If yall have noticed during the first challenge Skeleton, Endermen, and spider were noticed for their fair share of deaths, and were lacking skill to be able to defeat the clone. But despite their imperfections red understood their struggles, and even offered to help them. But with their anger clouding their judgment they couldn't understand that. And look at the fact that majority of the school only attacked red meanwhile Endermen, skeleton and spider just leave him being pushed around and beaten. But after they understood who red was, how he conducted, and helped they couldn't leave him. Given the significant impact of humility they were willing to help Red.
the small details like how red had a harder time holding the netherite staff because it’s heavier then the gold staff make these animations just that bit better
that's so true! Netherite is more compact than gold bc it's made of gold and netherite scraps, so it contains more mass.

The narrative irony is so rich in this. The first Animation v Minecraft was Red becoming mad with power of the source block and being possessed by Herobrine. Afterwards Red becomes more or less the "mob" guy, befriending and integrating animals and mobs to his playstyle. Now his solo arc centered around a school where mobs didn't like him and Herobrine is in control of this setting. Loved this short. Great stuff.

I can't explain all the emotions surging through my body right now but this felt like a cancelled show from my childhood coming back for one final time as a Movie and I love it so much. I love it to death. The original monster school was my comfort show when I was a child so seeing their original personalities and quirks really warms my insides.
I'm rebooting the premise of Monster School through my webcomic on Webtoon, it's called "Monster School: Revived" if anyone wants to read it (though, it hasn't gone very far and is currently 5 pages long) BUT i'm doing my best to continually update it because the show has a special place in my heart and I don't want it to die..

Thank you for paying respect to Willcraft's original series in a proper way instead of the clickbait garbage others put up nowadays, you even got the characters original personalities down to a tee
One small inconsistency I noticed was that Endie was kind of the opposite of what he was in the original, but everyone else is spot on that I almost didn’t really care. This was so nostalgic and miles better than the crap made today

That was something that kinda annoyed me throughout the entire video with it because of Endie’s general hostility toward Red. Although I can’t really nitpick much about it because of how it’s been more faithful than 10 years of Monster School content. Apart from that I do like the general consistency with it as most of the personalities are very faithful. There are character details that I wished were a part of it, for example (I’m gonna use mob names because I seriously can’t remember their names) Skeleton’s love for cooking, Wither’s obsession with heads, Endie’s more pacifistic/artistic nature, Silverfish’s independent nature, and Magma Slime’s love of food. But as the video didn’t really even need these details, it makes sense why these weren’t in it. Just a little “I wish” kinda details that were in it.

He probably didn't realize it was herobrine, which is why his role being the one here is perfect. He probably blacked out and didn't know who possessed him. That would be how I would assume that works.

I’ve been needing to see a Monster School animation like the OG for a while.
Loved some of Herobrine’s animations throughout this lol, nice touch of comedy. And the whole thing was just incredible, animation wise and character wise. The end fight was way too cool, can’t wait to see what happens next.
