I will just give an honorable mention to "Tip the Scales" from return to crocodile Island.
Yes it is a fan project but this one just hits like a good Disney Villain song!
The Duchess I Must Be from The Loud House Movie
In The Dark Of The Night :-)
I think you guys are missing the fact that this is excluding fan made songs
Oh c'mon, you put the villain song from wish up, but you leave out Open Up Your Eyes from the MLP movie? It's jolting, sung so incredibly well, and gives you so much background for the villain. It better only be because Tempest is redeemed at the end!
"In The Dark Of The Night" is my absolute favorite non-Disney villain song. The rock anthem melody, Jim Cumming's singing, and backing vocals are just incredible.
You got that right.
Technically, it IS a Disney song due to the fact that Disney now owns the rights to Anastasia.
Jim Cummings appears multiple times on this list… technically.
I always saw rasputi a mix of facilier, manifecent and jafar
@@andthentherewasyou A testiment to his voice-acting chops and lyrical range. One of the best voiceover artists of ALL TIME.
Be prepared will always be iconic
That's for sure... "The Lion King" is the crown jewel of Disney's Renaissance because it has everything any great animated movie must have done amazingly well and "Be Prepared" is the perfect villain song that fits one of the most devious villains in all of Disney like a glove.
@@rafaelmatos5851 couldn’t agree more
But we all know that Hellfire is considered to be the darkest Disney villain song of all time.
Yes definitely
Yeah, but hellfire is just dripping with darkness and venom that I couldn’t appreciate as a kid.
"My Lullaby" is an epic villain song, and always terrified me as a child. It deserves to be mentioned alongside "Ve Prepared" as an unforgettable villain anthem. 💖
The Lion King 2 is such an underrated movie.
Me too... I grew up listening it in European Portuguese (which is one of the best adaptations of it IMO), but listening the original... My God, I got chills everywhere! Suzanne Pleshette (may she rest in peace) was the perfect choice for Zira...
Be* Prepared
I swear, I watched TLK2 ONCE as a kid and Zira creeped me out so much that I never watched it again, even to this day (I'm an adult now).
"My Lullaby" was actually my favorite as a kid. It was "Hellfire" that frightened me so much I decided I hated the whole movie lol
Be Prepared and Hellfire is perfection
Be Prepared: Yes, Hellfire: Not so much.
I doubt any future villain song that may come in future will ever top those two. They are sang by two of the most terrifying and well-written villains of Disney's Renaissance. Those two songs are like fine wine... they can only get better with time.
@@rafaelmatos5851 Not Hellfire it won’t.
Agreed, Hellfire is literally a poem… the metaphors it entails are insane, especially for a Disney film. Also, Be Prepared is such a bad-ass song
Thanks Tony Jay.
Let's not forget that in "The Great Mouse Detective" Ratigan was voiced by the legendary Vincent Price
Who knew he could sing to?😁
@@everlenaoliver6912 he was a Broadway actor
I know “Gaston” is the more famous song on this list but “The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind” makes an excellent alternative with an identical feel.
It's delightfully Wicked!
The fact that Pooh Bear sings "In The Dark of the Night" and "Be Prepared" 😂😂
Jim Cummings is his name.
@KARDisney I know. It's just funny that someone who voices one of the sweetest and most innocent characters can sing 2 songs about killing someone 😂
@@delwinalvarez8086 have you SEEN his resume? He's done so many voices over the years that he has both good and evil well and truly covered.
The only problem is his voice is only recognisable because he's used the same voice for almost every character he's ever done 😅
@beck86 I know he's done a bunch of voices. But it's still funny to think of
About a 1/4 of be prepared was Jim Cummings
Seeing Prince of Egypt in the top 10 made my day
Seeing dark of the night made mine
Hellfire will always be the greatest villain song of all time, thanks Msmojo for placing it on the top of this list.
Villains always get the coolest songs! I think Be Prepared and In the Dark of the Night are my favorites!
Yep.😊And they're always more bombastic and fun than the heros.😊
Be Prepared, Cruella De Vil, Gaston, and Hellfire are the pinnacle of animated villain songs
"Playing With The Big Boy" and "In The Dark Of The Night" and "HELLFIRE" are one of my favorite animated villain songs beyond no doubt about it from my childhood.
you ain't the only one
@@jeanlasalle9311 Awesome, cause they each have powerful villain mode songs.
@@TheImaginator972 I can not agree more
You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch! I didn’t even think about that one but I’m so glad you guys remembered it and put it on the list! It’s so catchy and awesome!
It’s about time for Zira to be the thumbnail for a WatchMojo video. That’s why I clicked
Ditto
Same!
I’m so glad Lion King 2s My lullaby made the top 10 that’s the respect it deserves
Whether it's a villain song from Disney or some miscellaneous movie franchise, These are some of my all time favorite villain songs! The voice actors vocal performances are just absolutely legendary!!!
Friends on the other side is so iconic
Holding out for a hero should be way higher
My thoughts about the Miser Brothers' songs and Pretty Bird.
Came here to say the same.
Say what you want about the plot of the Lion King sequel, but they knocked it out of the park with the music.
For me, it goes to Ruber from Quest for Camelot. Voiced by perfection of Gary Oldman, he sent shivers down my spine. The way how he creates his dark henchmen, wanting what he deserves and killed a man including that Every Villain is Lime
Oh my gosh!! At the end of That’s My Lullaby I suddenly thought “I wonder if The Prince of Egypt will be on this list?” And then the very next song was from The Prince of Egypt!!! 😂😱
Disappointed that open up your eyes didn't make the list or was even an honorable mention
I can think of a few songs that should’ve been honorable mentions:
.Don’t Make Me Laugh (The Pebble and the Penguin)
.Welcome to the Show (My Little Pony:Equestria Girls:Rainbow Rocks)
.Open Up Your Eyes (2017 My Little Pony: The Movie)
.Wonderful Elegant Captian Hook-Peter Pan (1953)
Мне кажется вместо Welcome to the show лучше подойдёт Under Our spells
Welcome to the Show? Damn that's a deep cut but alright I kinda agree. It is admittedly kinda fire.
Be Prepared is the GOAT of any animated villain song
You missed “Non Je Ne Regrette Rien” from “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted”, “You’re Only Second Rate” from “The Return of Jafar”, “Peaches” from “The Super Mario Bros Movie”, and “Master of the Seas”, from “Ice Age 4: The Continental Drift”.
Master of the Seas for sure should be here
And they put "This is the Thanks I Get" here over any of those far superior songs. Let that sink in.
Playing with the big boys is technically the comic relief song. But compared to the comic relief songs from the house of mouse, it’s more badass.
Hellfire definitely deserves to be number one.
The name alone says everything.
I remember when I was ten, and I was basically in love with the Snow Miser ❄️ and Heat Hiser 🔥 songs
Be prepared and my lullaby are my fave
The smile that spread across my face when Thumbelina came on was huge! I’m so glad that underrated, amazing, beautiful movie is getting some credit!
I'm so happy that 'My Lullaby' is getting some love here! It's definitely one of my favorite villain songs!
You guys put in that trash from Wish, but didn't do anything with Hazbin Hotel?! Hell Is Forever and Stayed Gone are amazing villain songs!
honestly
WELL SAID BRO HOW THE HELL ARENT THOSE MASTERPICES HERE
💀💀💀
Let’s not forget Hell is Forever from Hazbin Hotel!
Whether you like it or not!
@@maximvandepoll3008 Had their chance to behave better, now they boil in a pot!
@princessberry98 The rules are black and white, there's no use in trying to fight it!
Hellfire and Be prepared are the best villian songs. Savages, My Lullaby and In the dark of the night are in my top 5. I love villian songs!
Me too
I’m glad Hephalumps and Woozles made your Disney list at least. It’s a song about sneaky creatures that just steal honey, but the way they arranged that number was brilliantly freaky.
Cool
If “Be Prepared” from The Lion King is not #1, we need to talk MsMojo.
No way Be Prepared beats Hellfire.
Hellfire is better.
It doesn't have to be all the time, you know. 🤷♀
Sweet Dreams and Fame by Velvet and Veneer is so iconic! That deserves to be on the list
I agree! I love Trolls!
No fr cuz they put thanks I get over it is insane 💀
@@Rocket.gutsss yea i mean Wish is fine but its not my favorite. Should have been replaced by a Velvet and Veneer song from Trolls Band Together
Nice! It's also great that you included Queen Barb! She's my favorite Dreamworks villain!
Be prepared will always be my favourite
Surprised “House of Asmodeus” wasn’t in here along with “Stayed Gone” and “Hell is Forever” from the Helluverse, but I love how “My Lullaby” was in this list! The Lion King 2 is in my top 5 Disney movie list!
I might grow up with Disney Movies but DreamWorks Movies had serious competition. It’s not just the movies or the franchises on the big screen or the animated couples but it’s the villains. That’s serious competition.
Imagine seeing Scar and Lord Shen have a rap battle and The Horned King and Pitch Black have a rap battle
OMG, yes! You made me so happy! How Can I Refuse is one of the best underrated villain songs and famous in Barbie history. The voice actor and singer is phenomenal
If this list included animated villain songs from tv shows as well, we would have great changes on the list... being why I hope we get a Top 30 list for that as well. I mean, there are so many to pick on, as well. Just MLP alone has many great villain songs, like "This Day Aria", "A Better Way to Be Bad" and "Villain". However, we can't also forget "Other Friends" from Steven Universe, "Ready as I'll Ever Be" and "Nothing Left to Lose" from the Tangled series, "Hell Is Forever" from Hazbin Hotel... And that is just me scratching the surface.
YES!!! I LOVE HELL IS FOREVER AND READY AS ILL EVER BE!
I already know about My Most Favorite Evil Animated Villain Songs throughout the years I Absolutely Cherish and Appreciate.
1. Pete's *King of France* from *Mickey, Donald and Goofy: The Three Musketeers*
2. *The Elegant Captain Hook* from *Disney's Peter Pan*
3. Scar's *Be Prepared* from *The Lion King*
4. Dr. Facilier's *Friends on the Other Side* from *The Princess and the Frog*
5. Jafar's *You're Only Second Rate* from *The Return of Jafar*
6. *It's Our House Now* from *Mickey's House of Villains*
7. Gaston's *The Mob Song* from *Disney's Beauty and the Beast*
8. Jafar's *Prince Ali* from *Disney's Aladdin*
9. Professor Ratigan's *The World's Greatest Criminal Mind* from *Disney's The Great Mouse Detective*
10. *Oogie Boogie's Song* from *The Nightmare Before Christmas*
11. *Gaston's Song* from *Beauty and the Beast*
12. Ursula's *Poor Unfortunate Souls* from *Disney's The Little Mermaid*
13. Zira's *My Lullaby* from *The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride*
These are My Most Favorite Evil Animated Villain Songs I'll always Respect, Cherish and Appreciate from my Childhood Years.
“Mine, mine, mine.” The government with half of our paychecks.
Doing top 30 now, eh?
Well... when 20 is not enough, you can only go higher.
Outrageous! Putting “This is the thanks I get” above the two underrated songs is a crime 😡2:49
Putting that crap in the list in the first place is a crime. Should've had a Hazbin Hotel song there instead if you ask me.
For a Disney Villain representing Disney100, I say it’s cool. Critics can say whatever they want but I like what I see and hear. It was interesting for Chris Pine to voice a animated villain
I absolutely love the snow and heat miser song so catchy and enjoyable
It's hard to believe their villain songs.
Two years ago on Christmas of 2022, my dad had the stuffed characters from A Year Without Santa Claus. Including the Ice Mizer and the Heat Mizer
The barbie movie series was one of my childhood movie favorites. So because "how can I refuse?" is the princess and the popper song, I started throwing flashbacks.
It's...a...TEMPORARY SETBACK! 'TIS A MOMENTARY LAPSE!! (I tried to do the SpongeBob meme with the quote, but I couldn't figure out how to pull it off lol)
Amazing how there were two songs listed performed by Jemaine Clement, and two songs performed by Jim Cummings
And 2 by Martin Short 😊
I’ll never forget watching Lion King 2 on VHS as a kid, and absolutely bopping to the soundtrack.
My Lullaby is an absolutely stunning piece of music for a Disney animated sequal, and the “Romeo & Juliet in Africa” take is perfect to follow the original’s “Hamlet in Africa”
22:00 Schaffrillas Productions' all time favorite song.
We need a list of hero songs
I agree with you
This is marvelous!! Getting a lot of nostalgia memories from most of these wicked songs!! Hellfire is quite intense!
Me too
Great choices for this top 30 greatest animated villain songs That’s my lullaby, Be prepared from both the Lion King and Simba’s Pride and Poor unfortunate souls from the little mermaid will always be my favorite villain songs as well as some of the others in this list 👍❤️
My favorite villain songs from Disney
6-Friends on the other side
5-The world’s greatest criminal mind
4-Poor unfortunate souls
3-Ways to be wicked/Rotten to the core D3Remix and Original
2-Mother knows best
1-Shiny
Cool
"Top 30 villian songs"
Oh gimme gimme gimme! 😈🥰😈
9:33 I love that
This list has several of my favorite villain songs.
S. U! (You know what that stands for) I love it that Big and Loud is on this list. She is regarded a underrated villain but she makes a great impression in style
I recently watched a video where someone analyzed "Hellfire" in depth, and pointed out the details which make it truly an outlier among villain songs. Not just for the musical nature, but for how the villain is visually portrayed...
Notice how with most villain songs the antagonist is in their element; they boast of their dastardly deeds or their evil plans, surrounded by fans or minions gazing up at them in awe, and by the end of the song, they seem to rise to be on top of the world at their most powerful moment, emphasized by low camera angles.
With "Hellfire," it is quite different. While still maintaining the epicness of any other villain song, things are topsy-turvy: rather than singing about his power, Frollo sings of his lust for Esmeralda, which is a WEAKNESS which he can't even fathom that he has. He does find himself surrounded, but not by admiring fans; hooded figures appear around him, judging him as he attempts to deflect accountability for his feelings, reminding him that his feelings are entirely his to blame.
In the final moments, the shadows of those figures reappear, towering above him as he literally seems to shrink before them. And with the final note, Frollo falls to his knees before the fire, as the camera pulls away from a high angle, as if through the eyes of God. His lust overtaking him, he collapses in the shape of an inverted crucifix.
"Hellfire" TERRIFIED me as a child, but now I appreciate the terror I felt back then. Definitely the greatest Disney villain song of all time!!!!!!
For some reason, I thought you guys were going to add Creative Control from Smg4 because that video just came out recently and that song was a Villain Song so it made me wonder if this was made because of that video just coming out
Hell is Forever from Hazbin Hotel deserves a nod on this list.
As great as this list, The Duchess I Must Be, Under Our Spell, Ruber and Other Friends would make a great honorable mention
My favourite animated villain song is The Duchess I Must Be from The Loud House Movie
This list is all messed up
It's definitely Be Prepared from The lion king. Happy sunday afternoon, Emily. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Can't help it. Keith David..
Anytime i hear him in a movie or so.. i see the Arbiter.
Lol, either him or Goliath from Gargoyles!!
Hell fire is a good song and I do understand it was a very risky song for Disney, but am I the only one that thinks that this makes number one every single time?
Cool
I’m just happy you guys didn’t make this all Disney like I thought it would be. There’s some ones I actually forgot about in here!
I’m not a rock fan but I really liked barbs rendition of crazy train
Totally! I'm also not a fan of hard rock, but Barb's renditions were perhaps one of the best parts of Trolls 2.
Meowth's Song - "Pokémon"
Hellfire taking the Number 1 spot again?
What I love about How Bad Can I Be is the chorus
This is now a WatchMojo video that’s my favorite WatchMojo video ever!
I saw the legend of camelot and it felt like a disney movie and the villain somg was great.
The top 2 had to be 2 specific songs and you guys did not disappoint. Amazing animated villain songs.
That Headless Horseman song really gave me the creeps as a kid.
Me too sometimes
You should do Top 30 Broadway villians but Disney…..their own.
Checked number one was correct and happily watched the rest of the video. 👌🏻
So happy they put How Can You Refuse from Barbie as the Princess and The Pauper because it is such a great song and probably one of the best villain Barbie songs ever 😁♥️ also I enjoyed this list and some of these villain songs are amazing and catchy 😃❤️❤️🎵
haven't watched the video yet... let me guess the #1... hellfire
In French version of Lion King and Hunchback of Notre Dame, we have the same voice actor for Scar and Frollo (Jean Piat who dubbed Gandalf in Lotr VF too) and this is by far the two best villains songs we've got. He gave a theatrical rendition that is amazing
Twice for Jemaine Clement, Don Bluth Villain Songs, DreamWorks and Jim Cummings
how can I refuse is iconic
Regardless of the quality of the film, Jemaine Clement will always be entertaining
I’m liking these lists with 30 instead of 10 or 20
It's great to hear that you're enjoying the longer lists! Having more options to explore can offer a more comprehensive look at a topic and provide a wider range of choices for viewers.
These are the villains we LOVE to hate.
Who do you think the animated cartoon villain's on this list are the worst we love to hate do you think here?
My only guess on the animated cartoon villains we love to hate here is ursula from disney's the little mermaid that is my only guess here on this list too as well.
For me be prepared, Pour unfortunate soul, In the dark of the night gave me a tiny bit of shivers however The Song Helfire gave me so much shivers like I was in Antarctica but without the proper clothing.
I'm so glad you included the Snow and Heat Miesers songs. P.S Scar's Mate's song is amazing. 👏🏾
I was so surprised to see Preminger on this list, but I'm glad he does. The voice acting is phenomenal and the song is actually a banger
My favorite villain songs are
1. Be Prepared (I’ll get a lot of hate for this but I was so excited to hear it during the live action version but it didn’t hit me the same I was disappointed to say the least).
2. Friends on the Other Side
3. In the Dark of the Night (i haven’t seen Anastasia in a long time and i still remember that song)
4. Poor Unfortunate Souls
5. Mother Knows Best
There should be honorable mentions with dont make me laugh from pebble and the penguin, another of tim currays iconic rolse
Very nice Lineup.
Although, I would’ve preferred Biggering to be part of this List.
13:27 ALL THESE YEARS - I NEVER noticed those numbers in that chasm he made
There’s a fun rock song I found recently called Cinderella Snapped which turns the entire Princesses needing to be rescued by a Prince trope entirely on its head. Not exactly kid friendly but still fun.
Ichabod realizing The Headless Horsemen is real is an “Oh Shit” moment. On another note the opening segment of “Love is an Open Door” is quite reveling with Hans motioning to Arendale saying how he’s been searching his whole life to find his own place.
Interesting fact about “snake charmers”: the weaving motions and flutes aren’t really used to “charm” the venomous serpents but to give them a harder target to strike.
Just found this video and Heat meiser and the snow meiser song is my go to OG christmas song from my childhood. My parents and I would watch the movie every year.
The Headless Horseman song used to scare me a lot as. There’s so many villains sounds I can choose in here I’m gonna go with in the dark of the night, which is my all-time favorite.
I saw this awsome video of ashfur from warriors with hellfire, and it felt super fitting, not just because of the character simmilarietes, but also they are both media "for kids" that is full of stuff that is VERY adult
