A caste is a subsect based on religion. reservation should be removed first to even make you r premise valid.

@PARTH Asha my pov is that rituals are of two kinds- rituals that you personally perform and rituals that are collectively performed. Rituals have meaning and give satisfaction to the performer of the ritual because it’s followed in a certain way. For example some athletes have a ritual of wearing the left socks first and that gives them a sense of peace, now if you come and say it doesn’t matter we should not discriminate which order socks are to be worn, this is a meaningless argument because this is a ritual that is true for the person practicing the ritual, if this ritual is not in agreement with you- you don’t need to even bother about it, just ignore it. The same case with rituals pertaining to the collective- unless they are physically or mentally harmful to other people, it is not up to the non-believer in that ritual to enter into that space

it's a temple where a specific diety resides who has some preferences (celibacy) and has given some basic commandments to his devotees for visiting him..it's just not the age ban..there are lots of things..like 41day penance etc..I can't elaborate on all..if you are interested to know more feel free to google..every devotee who wants to climb the 18steps and have his darshan ..he is supposed to take the 41day vrath and be a total celibate..not to shave .wear black..not to wear chappals etc..and devotees literally do that.All that hardships only because they believe in the commandments given by the lord of whom they are going for darshan..
Any temple is for the believers of that deity..Some temples may have strict policies ..some may not..but regardless it's not a tourist place..if "ANYONE"( I consider that as an unbeliever) they ca just go to some other place..they can do trekking on lots of mountains..even Himalayas..but not Sabarimala.. ..it's common sense that when one goes to visit someone they have to follow the host's preferences in mind..

@Ak Ak If Supreme Court intervened in the temple using secular principles, then they should accept beef ban to be applied in general practice as a religious principle being used…tit for tat
@Ak Ak All religious practices which do not violate fundamental rights should be within the purview of religion IMO. Weird stuff like what you mentioned would violate these rights snd cannot be allowed even if religion permits it.
@Ak Ak yes, beef ban it is not wrong if u are in pakistan and in ur home, where there are no hindu religion followers. Dont sell beef in a area, where hindus live and u should not harm their religious sentiments.

Dude, I'm an atheist. But, I know how to rank dogmaticisms and unreformed and radical Islam is number 1 in that, and it's culture is pretty close minded. Atheists generally won't have major problems with Hindus if they don't interfere in their lives. This is not true for Islam which rejects non believers and consider them to be enemies as per their scriptures if they follow them radically and as it is. I have no problems with moderate Muslims but radical Islam. Hinduism or Sanatan Dharma on the other hand, considers atheism to be a part although present Sanatan Dharma might differ. For example, your comment is against atheists.
There have been many Hindu philosophers like Charvaka who have been atheists. Famous atheists around the world like Hitchens, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and here Anand Ranganathan have spoken against pseudo-liberalism and radical Islamism. Of course, there are many atheists who aren't like that, but my point is you can't generalize atheists. Actually, I don't even want to call myself a religious label like atheist. I'm open minded for the future and presently I'm a non believer.

@Arid being atheist i don't have any issue with any religion.. When i was in clg, i saw Muslims mocking Hindus regarding our religion..
