You can try holding it by hand but the easiest way I found it to stick a larger screwdriver in slot of the clutch, you have to be careful not to damage the plastic slider. If you open up the clutch like you are changing the belt the screwdriver will go into the clutch farther and which will also make it easier to keep the clutch from rotating. how do u hold the secondary clutch from spinning to torque it

TK put the unit in gear, have sombody step on the brake and hit it with an impact wrench. Been removing them since the 70's with snowmobiles.
Will the puller from the rzr 800 work?
No it wont. It has the same threads but its to short and can damage the cover bushing if used. PCP-8 is the correct puller for the General.
