Hey, just FYI...if you still have the car, the slow starting has been traced down to a ground issue with the 5th Gens. Gen5DIY sells to ground upgrade cables that's help immensely with the issue. One cable bolts from the bell housing to the body, and the other goes from the battery to the body. I have a built 2014 SS with an LSX440. When hot especially, it would barely ever want to start...It was bad. I recently installed the cables and the its 95% better; both cold and hot starting, it fires right up.
Nice purchase. I too bought my 2SS/RS with the mods I would have done, cam, exhaust and E-85 tune. I will be following to se what u do. My is 488 at the rear. Mine starts the same way.
I have one of these. It is ashen gray metallic with the black trim just looks evil. No mods, no wrecks, no track. Low miles and unmolested. Love the car.
@@jensen3757 my car has been completely reliable, but it only has 8,000 miles. It is a car that requires energy to drive. Like it takes energy to drive a nail - it doesn’t drive itself. And it is not a drag racer. It’s an athlete of a car; it likes turning, slowing, accelerating - basically driving like a maniac. Track car. My experience driving a panel van helps with the lack of rear visibility. Peace ☮️.
That's awesome you got the z28 man! Beautiful car! I just picked up my 2015 camaro 2ss about 1.5 month ago, weird tho either the factory or a previous owner made my ss look like the z28 even tho it's just a 2ss model. Oh and I recommend the nitto invo tires they hook good once warmed up, I'm running 295/35r20 front and 315/35r20 rear.
@@thebossnocompetition8757 I don’t think so, my car only has headers, cold air intake and borla atak full exhaust no cats. On the dyno tune it made 390rwhp and 410rwtq it’s auto to. Thinking heads cam from GPI and stall I will be over 500 rwhp easily
Jesus Christ man, black Z/28 is the shiz man!! I WAS looking for one last year, but I couldn't find anything at a reasonable price and I really wanted a hot rod daily driver so I gave up on the Z/28 idea and started testing the 6th Gen Camaro SS. It didn't take long to realize that the SS 1LE was a very good alternative and at a better price. I really like the LT1 motor and Tremec combo, the torque feels much like the LS7 IMO. I never got a chance to drive the Z/28, but I tested the Z06 and of course I was impressed. I'm not disappointed in the least with my decision, but I will always be a huge fan of this car, it's a no BS beast that Chevy built to destroy some other cars!! I did Cross shop quite a few RWD sports cars when I was looking for a new ride, but I kept returning to the SS 1LE, it's the closest thing to your Z/28 on the road currently, but they are not going to be around forever, sad to say. Thanks for the indepth look at this amazing vehicle, hope you are still enjoying it and hearing that 427 screaming!! Damn that Camming idle is ridiculous 😂😂
Nice, you definitely caught it at the perfect time! I'm glad it has a few miles on it so I don't feel too bad driving it, but still considered low miles compared to some out there!
I don't know how it compares to the stock tires but I'd imagine compared to any other tire in the class, it is the most road-friendly. I wanted one with good dry performance but also take some miles, the PS4S is the best option for my needs.
I don't think this car will be worth a ton relatively, it's modified and has the most common color. I just hope to enjoy the car and maybe not loose much on it if I ever decide to sell.
Congratulations! Love that car I'll get mine one day for now I love my ZL1. 5th gen love baby
Get the z/28 now

I wonder if this issue plagues the Chevy SS. Mine tends to have trouble starting when hot
My dream car also, congrats man I hope she is still in your possession 🖤
My 2015 Z28 with only 8k miles with 600rwhp will be out of the shop next week. Can't wait to get on the track
Awesome ride i bought one out of florida this fall with 2500 miles. There definitely a awesome car!!!
Thanks! I'm happy with mine, I like modified cars and this one was done right for sure. What color?
Congrats! Dream car. Looking forward to more videos of it
Best looking camaro by far!
i have just bought an 2015 SS but i will add z28 parts to it to get this look.

That car looks amazing. I love it :)
This is one of my dream cars . Ls7 baby .

Insane car bro..holy shit
Sick car bro, I wanted the Z28 but it is was way out of my price range

Bad potty mouth!!
Beauty!
Nice car!! What did u give??
Mods usually dont raise the price of the car they usually decrease the value.. but certain mods or kits will make it more valuable
Ok. What exact mods or kits are u talking about??
Did you mention the engine? 7.0 liter
Congratulations!! I bought my car in 2017 for $46,000.00. It had 600 miles.
Nice, you definitely caught it at the perfect time! I'm glad it has a few miles on it so I don't feel too bad driving it, but still considered low miles compared to some out there!
Do you still have the chevy kodiak?
Have it dyno tuned its
Congrats! I am on the fence between the hellcat z28 or gen5 zr1.
Have you driven all 3?
Same brotha
I can’t believe you didn’t rev
Looking at one now
Did u buy one??
Go satin pearl white for the wrap. Looks amazing
Do ot ride smoother with those tires?

Investment car. I call it the 1 percent because their not alot these z28. You keep it low miles it could be alot in the future.

Which texas speed exhaust it has
1-7/8 long tubes, catless x-pipe and stock mufflers.
Is it true every LS7 has a valve problem?
...This Z28 is so clean I'm feeling sick it's not mine. Absolutely gorgeous.
Random question, that thing have Bluetooth?
no, it doesn't.
It will Bluetooth your phone for phone calls but u cant stream music without a aux cord that plugs in inside the console.
I have one in Ashen Grey ...but black and white are better
Sell?
How much did you pay for the car if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been looking for a black Z28
I also prefer modded cars 👌
A lot less than what they are going for now!
Making same power almost as a stock zl1
That's wheel horsepower... And this is a totally different car then a ZL1..
I might buy one of these but in a different color. Too many black cars.
Grey 2015 SS here ;)
Just only good if you have a track near you-other than that it can barely beat a Subaru in a straight race (maybe not)
Don’t wrap this car🤦♂️
