@Jack White they have basic training on pursuits. Even if it's a quality program. There is no excuse for how much danger that cop made. Cops high-speed training is a joke. I've seen plenty that can't drive for shit. They are usually no better than an average person not to mention the distractions in the car. I'd argue they are more of a risk as they play on the computer in a chase. Cops cause more problems in a chase and typically make things worse.
@Jack White they are the biggest hypocrites of all. Just last night I saw 2 cops joyriding doing 90 down a 30 plowing through lights just putting people in danger. No chase just putting the community in danger because they can. There will be no repercussions for them but if I did that I would be in jail. The Camero kept brake checking the ASP Trooper, letting him know that he couldn't be caught. You can see when they crossed into Memphis, the Camero brake checked the trooper one last time thanking him for the escort into Memphis. Awesome driving skills. One-to-one, you get this result.

"This is Sheriff Buford T Justice, I'm in a high-speed pursuit....." lol 😀
Arkansas cop speeding 48 in a 35 zone in Memphis...would have been gold to see the trooper get a speeding ticket.
OR, being chased and pitted for not pulling over!
In a pursuit they do not have to stop at the state line, in case you didn’t know it. 🚔🚨
Lawless Officer didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign in memories… needs a ticket

@@nadilenebudski 😭😭😭😭😭..Got eem
The trooper's speed maxed at 130mph. The Camaro was pushing close to 150mph or higher. What a rush!
Future reference, the V6 Camaro is a 6th gen and they top out at 155. Faster than the cruiser. Don't be shocked; it's not the 90s anymore. They're 335 hp and with the 10 speed GM/Ford automatic it's a 4.9 second 0-60 and a 13.5 quarter mile. Only around 3300 lbs.
I seen this when I was leaving Tennessee that's my black dodge and camper at 4:32
Nice rig!! I bet they came up quick coming from Arkansas.
Love the way the Camaro flashed their blinkers at the end, the cop couldn’t even keep up 🤣
But somehow was able to catch up despite the initial 130 mph difference.
@@killermogle The Maro probably slowed down for some reason.
He was playing with the cop. My 2010 Camaro was limited to 155. Unlimited was 172.

@terryduncan31 get a better tune. Mine tops 185

That boy was left in the dust. Some of those maneuvers were scary 😨
@garthgimmestad8224 As you were, Einstein! He was left in the dust LONG BEFORE crossing the state line! And that officer may wind up being the success story with his recklessness chasing after him.

Wow! That was just a 4-cylinder Camaro. Could you imagine how a V8 Camaro would blow that cop's doors off?!
Doubtful
Did you notice the governor is at 132 everytime it hit 132 it would drop down to 128 129. That's low hell most cars are set at 140

Jes, returning back to Arkansa was such a "walk" of shame!
How dare a common citizen drive recklessly and endanger others, only offices can do that.
He may have a gun in the camaro.. so we had better shoot him
I get your point, but police actually are specially trained for high speed chases, and have a much better sense of their car than your average person.
I have no respect for cops and they should get no excuses they should be heald to a higher standard.

Absolutely semi act like they own that part of highway 40. I thought I was in a scene from Maximum overdrive.
I'm a long haul trucker, that section is very scary for us. Its only 2 lanes each way and all the traffic going east and west is bottlenecked into that section.
Aye Like I always say if you don’t like trucks, Don’t buy anything and starve to death😂
This is hilarious. He didn't even get close enough to get the plates.
Probably running without plates anyways
does the camera have to get the plates or can the officer just eye ball it himself and try to remember?
If the trooper had a license plate reader then it might be possible they got a plate ID. Otherwise… That’s all she wrote folks.
At 3:30, the trooper did get close enough that if he had an LPR, he could’ve got the plate. Crazy for the Camaro driver to play chicken with a tanker truck.
@@drsteiny1 i get that but would the trooper be able to say like i saw it w my own eyes here it is or or does the camera/lpr HAVE to get confirmed ID?
Except at the 2:00 and 3:30 marks, the plates would have been totally readable
That move he did on the left shoulder by the 18 wheeler was the moment that I said oh nah he is gone sir.
