Good spot! The car has good temp control, however on this occasion I suspect that as it was below operating temp (88c) the thermostat was shut and then WOT with triple the boost and fuel overcame the cooling system and she got to 100c. Not normally an issue - infact it runs with out fans as I ran out of space! W/M is superb at keeping her cool.
@@maximilianboost8498 I see, need to install one too. Are you running the 85 degree celsius thermostat if your operating temp is around 88 degree celsius? And no fans you mean the electrical aux fans, or the visco fan at the water pump? Thanks!
@@lowbudgethighboostgarage5874 Standard thermostat and no fans at all! Just a big rad and intercooler, oil cooler and PAS cooler. I have a mini 6" SPAL to fit some day - just have not needed it yet!
@@maximilianboost8498 That is great! And do you still have the cross member between the front chassis rails, behind the front bumber? Or you cut it out for extra air circulation? I guess you run the biggest possible radiator, the 300D with A/C
