I'm not sure that a it should be called an "affair" when an adult man is messing around with his wife's adoptive 15 yr old daughter... I know times were different, but still.
I came here to write the same comment. Let's call a felony a felony and not soften it with blaming the victim.
As far as I know, she kicked her daughter out penniless and never saw her again. 😢
Yeah, I doubt that people called it an "affair" back then, too. A man is a man and a child is a child in any century.
@@susanmirarchi7303 There are several fictional murder mystery stories from that era which portray a spoiled and debauched wealthy woman adopting and then disposing of a child after she felt egotistically threatened by her current husband's ( or lover's ) attraction to the child. Some were likely based on Aimee. She sounds like a rotten person, actually. Generally, the fictional characters like Aimee end up as the murder victims.
@@jabbermocky4520 This may not be fair to say., but I have to think, that she never cared much about other people, or their feelings. I understand being young and "getting your ya-yas out", but she seemed to plow through lovers, even in her older years! With all that money she could do what she liked, and she would do it again, if she could!
I have to admit I was hoping to hear of her doing something charitable, or doing something to help her fellowman. Very clearly she loved the spot light, she loved to be thought of as scandalous and outrageous. It takes all kinds of people in the world thought, right?! It would be a dull and boring world without our differences from one another.
She very likely was brought up by a nanny herself
"And I'd Do It Again" What a good name for memoirs haha
Easy to talk about the high art of living when you do whatever you want, whenever you want, and have all the money you need.
I Adore your stories.
Money does not bring happiness. ❤
Her 4th husband didn't have an affair with her 15 year old daughter, he raped her. A 15 year old kid is not able to consent to sex with an adult (or older teen) in any case but especially when there is a power imbalance like the adult being a parent or step-parent. I hope her daughter wasn't punished for what happened to her. Great video 👍
She was expelled from the family, penniless 😢
And suddenly I'm not mad anymore that I can't fall asleep!
Same here
Aimee Crocker was a woman who lived life to the fullest. However, I wonder how her life would've been without the enormous wealth. Nevertheless, she lived her truth, and as such, is an inspiration! Thanks for covering her wild life.
Another interesting story.... and the images included truly add to the experience! Excellent research and presentation, yet again. Thanks!
What a fascinating woman! Thank you for introducing her to me.
And i love the old film footage too!
I love your voice. It is so soothing. l have migraines and your voice is relaxing. And l enjoy the stories. Thank you.
I was waiting for you! Thank you, always amazing listening to you :)
Edit: Great video! I listened twice. Thanks again FLives
The background music is always so soothing 😍
Not nearly soothing as those beautiful lips! Be still my heart :)
Yes! I needed this in my day 😄
Maybe someday you'll give us a short bio of alesteir Crowley ( British sorcerer) but of what I'm curious is that he was either married or at least lived with a Nicaraguan lady ( I'm Nicaraguan by birth) and since you are kind of a " modern detective" you may find something of great interest, thanks for your program
Wonderful as ever ❤
And she did enjoy life😊 and it is easier with loads of money,so she took advantage and went for it,it was a good story, and as usual well told😊
Thank you Forgotten Lives for another upload. 🤗 I love your videos since they're always about someone interesting from past times. 🥰
I always find your stories fascinating
Always a pleasure listen to you my friend 🙋

Wonderful storytelling as always!
She gave Elizabeth Taylor a run for her money😂😂
You mean the other way around!
Was the urn ever recovered, I wonder?
Thanks very much. Enjoyed.
Thank you 🙏
Very interesting book, I’d recommend it.
Maybe my community back home on the gulf islands took a page or two out of her book! This sounds like almost everyone I know back home 😂 never could fit in there. Too wild .
We have the same birthday🎉
Art just imitates life such true words, and I am an artist
What a wild life! It would make for an interesting movie.
A true Sagittarius, reminds me of Doris Duke!
32 seconds early!
lmao "If you seek Aimée "💀
❤️

"And I'd Do It Again" by Aimee Crocker
Have you yet done the story of Victoria Woodhull who was the first woman on the stock exchange?
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
❤😊❤
I like this woman!
This woman is the coolest woman ever. ❤
She also supposedly married her first husband after he won her in a poker game.
It's interesting and speaks volumes about this society of ours when a Kardashian prototype is considered "fascinating" and praised for unapologetically living on her own terms (while trampling all over the lives of others.)
She was a narcissist. Nothing more. Happily left in the dustbin of history where she belongs.
There are better people worth remembering.
Rich people are eccentric, poor people are crazy lol
She lived her life unapologetically and on her own terms
....One Of WASTE.
@@rebeccalee1065 She did not consider it so, she had a great life.
Who inherited the Hawaiian Island? Must be doing well.
Sac call out
Beautiful baby, Alma
Any kin to Betty Crocker? 😂wink wink
It seems at the time there was an abundance of Russian aristocrats very eager to marry rich women! Aimee Crocker, Barbara Hutton, Sylvia Ada McDougall, Audrey Emery, Ava Alice Astor - they all married into Russian nobility at some point!
Easy for her to claim the statement she made about living...of course, she lived to the fullest on her money; it was limitless. I wonder what other things she could have done to mitigate the human condition, especially during her times amid rampant poverty in big cities.
It Was The BOLSHELVIC Revolution, Not Russian Revolution.
You used to be so kind. You were very compassionate. I don’t remember you slamming women. But once your brother joined every episode with women you treat them badly! Why did you let your brother decide to make you be nasty? It breaks my heart and I will not watch your channel.
Not sure how i am "slamming women"? I try my best to relate the story the best I can with all the context and details, sorry if something seemed offensive and if so tell me what so I can work with my writer and improve!
I enjoy the content of your videos but your voice is tedious
The narrator has such a strange thick accent that he is impossible to understand. He even mispronounces the name of his subject. A pity as the woman had an interesting life...I guess.
