What if there were no bruises but the sheriff wrote there was bruising to the face, neck, and arms to make an arrest report they took pictures but there were no showing of bruising but prosecutors filed a case. I was taken advantage of by the court for being ignorant to the court system who had no previous criminal record or acts of domestic violence in my 44 years of life.
He tried to drop case by saying to move on (knowing I know have disabilities) with divorce and not be heard, not expose the fact that during our 13+ yrs of marriage providing for other secret families that are not disclosed in financial and ASSETS 🤑
I'm in Colorado. My ex has been incarcerated for 18 months for DV, he's in work release right now. To retaliate against me he conspired with his family to call social services to steal my kids using DHS as a tool. It worked and his mother has my babies now. I've already disproven the allegations, but they won't give back the babies. I found out I had a warrant and turned myself in last week and found out it was for "retaliating against a witness/victim" and it's a domestic violence case. ?!?!? I haven't had any contact with him in 18 months, and he's not a witness in the case obviously cuz he hasn't seen our kids in that whole time, he's a respondent parent who wasn't going to testify as a witness. Now of course he's going to testify about me "retaliating against him." If anybody knows what the heck I can do, I'm pretty sure this is some kind of small town corruption. Please reply to this and let me know, that charge is a class 3 felony
Personally, I don't know what the situation is, but, I know Men throughout the US are tired of being falsely accused or watching their brothers fall to false accusations, so, you got what you asked for - This is what happens when you get the government involved in matters that should be private - The courts want to take a man's money - and the others want to take a woman's babies - Everything in government is rigged to make you suffer once you get them involved - My point is, I don't feel pity for you - but, I do hope the truth wins
Why are you telling people who are horrible people who hurt others and in some cases almost kill people, how to get out of court. Your a horrible human being for trying to help them with this.

What if the crown offered diversion? And you reject it for trial. Doesn't that mean it's a weak case?

I agree with you on this because I am fighting a dv case now against my husband abusing me and he has been sending me these videos all day

Because not everyone is a criminal some ppl are innocent in these situations and are suffering because someone falsely accuses them
