21:44 As a hardcore JoBro fanatic at the time of this movies release, I'll take this one.
Nick was kinda a musical theater prodigy as a child. He was on broadway as Chip in Beauty and the Beast, Tiny Tim, Garvoche in Les Mis ect. as well as having recorded a Christmas song in the early 2000s. Nick got an interview at Disneys record label due to his theater connections and his whole family went along for support. The execs were so impressed by Nick that they jokingly asked him if he had any brothers and Nick (the serious one he's always been) took them literally, went out into the hall, and pulled Joe and Kevin into the room. The execs flipped when they found out Joe and Kevin could also sing and that between the 3 of them they played like 5-6 instruments.

So, I have two absolutely not correlated fun facts:
1: Making your voice sound like 2 people can happen with a vocal technique called overtone singing, in which you're basically singing and harmonizing with yourself. It's really cool. HOWEVER it wouldn't sound like a full on track like in the movie 😂

As a Jonas Brothers fan for the past 15 years (have seen them more than 30 times as a band lmao) there are no lies told about how bad this movie is. The Jonas Brothers themselves - mostly Joe - always make fun of this, including the awful Joe dance lmao. And as fans who this meant a lot to when we were like 14, we also love to make fun of how bad it is. We all do look back at the time fondly so sometimes a song of two will be played on tour and a lot of people eat it the hell up.
Also since you asked, the Jonas Brothers weren't formed by Disney! They were signed to Columbia records and released a punk-pop album that flopped terribly, played sets at local malls and and middle/high schools for years. Disney caught on to them later on but they were already a band with the Jonas Brothers name and songs they wrote.
Hope that helps. Thanks for the laughs lmao, bye!

The songwriters for This Is Me totally ripped off Everywhere by Michelle Branch!🤣 Demi's character is literally called Michelle but they never call her that! They knew what they were doing!
Anyone else miss Michelle Branch before her label ruined her career?
I just finished listening to what should've been her 2010s follow-up album West Coast Time and it sounded like we were robbed of hearing her natural evolution into a music vet. I then listened to her most recent album which is pretty good.
Imo, talent means nothing to have a successful career if you don't have just as strong of a management team. Taylor should bless her lucky stars she has one. Especially since she herself idolized Michelle Branch, owning a blue guitar because of her and even covering All You Wanted at Michelle's birthstate of Arizona!

Surprisingly I was not that cringed about the movie even I was in my late teens (nineteen).
