- Ryan Cheek prepares for her first run at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, driving the American X Kart. The weekend shake-down started at an autocross with the CCR SCCA at ZMax Dragstrip in Concord, North Carolina. She then met the driving pro, Johan Schwartz, at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, South Carolina, for wet skid pad testing. Will you be able to test at hill climbs before Pikes Peak?
I have one hillclimb, Pine Mountain Hillclimb of the Appalachian Hillclimb Series, near the end of April that I will get to run the kart before Pikes Peak.
