Plus Bangla is the local name of Bengal. Bangladesh means 'Bengali land/country. People of West bengal (India) and Bangladesh have same language and almost same cuisine.

Never heard of Bangladeshi Pizza before. Makes a lot of sense though to take inspiration from a culture so rich in good food. Awesome when chefs are willing to take risks and back it up with quality, the pizzas looked delicious and beautiful :)

Bangladesh's only rise to prominence has been for religious extremism apart for being notoriously famous for exporting illegal immigrants to india. this fellow is a well travelled plagiarist and has a smart marketing sense peddling indian flavours as bangladeshi in a completely foreign market that is receptive to any new flavours. chiken tikka has as much to do with bangladesh as salt has to do in a sweet pudding. and the fish paste he is talking about, it is so stinky, you eat it with your hands and the stench will not leave your hands for the entire day no matter how much you wash your hands.

We have food originated all over the world in Malaysia. If it is part of our culture basically mean we own every single recipes in this world.

Shutki, the dried fish is mostly eaten with rice. This is actually the first time I've seen someone to make shutki-flavored-pizza. Who would have thought?! lol
Not really, only difference is there are more beef based dishes in BD than in WB but that's mostly it. (both my parents are from WB while i was raised in BD and now Canada) been to both Kolkata&Dhaka food wise not that different at all
Ehsas Amim There r a lot of difference. Kolkata people r more used to the sea fish like Prawn and Bangladehsi has a lot of sweet water fish.Also the vegetables dishes r different. And also Bangladesh has a lot of meat dishes than kollata.Even Kolkata people usually don't Eat Shutki.

He uses #Shutki but no whole #garlic because they go very well together. He could have used #kasundi or #dhoniya pata sauce for flavor. Pizza should have been named #ShutkiPizza.
I wish their quality stayed the same. They started to have an ego after getting major reviews and then every pizza will be different in terms of quality. I hope this reminds them to keep their quality up.

This store is in Hamtramck, MI in Bangla Town. It's super diverse here. Bengalis, Yeminis, polish and blacks. Super cool and their pizza is also delicious.
