thank you Rebecca, it is very useful. I still struggle to soften
You are welcome, keep practicing!
Love your tutorials. Could you do one on cold vs warm colors. I understand the difference, but have a harder time when trying to determine if a particular color is warm or cool. For example, is this blue warm or cool?
Great suggestion! To determine whether a color is warm or cool, I often google a question to see how the color is described by the manufacturer: "Is Winsor & Newton French Ultramarine Blue warm or cool?"
@@RebeccaRhodesWatercolorArtist Yeah, but I’d love to be able to tell by looking at them. Just don’t see it sometimes.
I keep a list nearby and double check when I can't remember. :)
Using the smooth side of the paper - Do you know if this as equally sized as the intended surface?
I'm not sure, sorry.
Neither am I. I'd have thought it's sprayed onto the intended side of the paper although there would be some leakage through as the paper goes through the rollers - Probably makes no difference now that I think about it!@@RebeccaRhodesWatercolorArtist
It's a good question!
