I am 73 years old. About seven years ago, I went through an emotional trauma that left me really messed up. Music had always been a big part of my life, but I could no longer listened to any of it. It all made me incredibly, unbearably sad. Then three years ago my daughter introduced me to BTS. I don't have words to describe what they have done for me. I depended on their lyrics and performances through the illness and death of my husband. I listen and watch something every day. I love the Run BTS episodes. They make me laugh and that's the best thing. Thanks for your reactions.

I'm 33 years old and BTS has helped me a lot since 2018, they helped me with my loneliness, in depressive moments the song "Tomorrow" was my support for a long time. They are my support in the worst times, but they are also there in the best.I believe when they say that BTS finds you when you need it most, because that's what happened to me.
So sorry for your loss. I’m 65 and married 47 years so I can’t imagine the heartbreak & loneliness. I’m so glad BTS found you and brought you a little happiness. I'm a 52 year old dad and my son introduced me to BTS 7 years ago. I dismissed them as "the Korean 1 Direction". I liked bands like Tool and Nine Inch Nails. 2 years later my wife left me for another guy and BTS had released their "Map of the Soul" albums. I watched the "On" and "Black Swan" MV's and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Truly extraordinary artistry. Absolute sincerity in the music. I am certain that BTS saved my life. It also gave me a way to bond with my son in a very powerful and loving way. I am so grateful for BTS.

BTS is free therapy! Honestly, I couldn’t have made it through the pandemic without them. When I’m down, I will binge watch Bon Voyage or In The Soop. Even just watching them hanging around, cooking for each other and enjoying their down time together gives me so much comfort. It seems weird to say, but it’s the truth.

I'm a 63 year old army and I also have no one who understands the connection bts has for me. I hope you know you're not alone, there are a lot of ARMY bout here that hear you. This gentleman has done wonders for me in just the few weeks he's been reacting. He's open, inciteful and spreads good messages. "Kill them with kindness"....borahae!
65 year old BTS ARMY. Like so many others here, BTS has given me a joy that I had not found in music for a very long time. And I have also found joy in THEM. My family doesn't understand my love for BTS, but I don't care. They are the ultimate Magic Shop.

I'm from Colombia, I'm 24 years old and I have an official diagnosis of 'social anxiety' since i was 13 so it costs me a lot to join social spaces and since I was a child I have felt a big emptiness and loneliness in me which is why music has been a very important part of my life, so one day I saw one recommendations on youtube of bts and started listening to them, their songs helped me a lot to stop feeling 'emotionally constipated'. Their comforting words, their music, their charisma,their goofiness, how easy it is for them to say if they're feeling fine or not accompany me in my healing process and thanks to them I found friends and hobbies that I can share with people close to me so this is why they will always have a very special place in me and I will always feel grateful, that is why it's very nice to see how they also help many other people and spaces where we can share our experiences. ♡ keep doing your thing and discovering them, it's really nice to watch your videos!
I'm an Egyptian Army. Before BTS I had no idea k-pop was even a thing I'd just seen Psy's Gangnam Style and thought it was a cool song by an Asian artist but that was it.
I slept on BTS for years because I believed in k-pop stereotypes unfortunately and only decided to give them a chance a year ago and that's when I became Army which is something I never thought was possible. I fell in love with everything about them instantly their versatile music, endless skills, lyrics, message, personalities, charisma, authenticity, dedication to their craft, bonds with each other and with Army, as well as many other things there's nothing to dislike. I tried exploring many groups at the same time and I did like some others but for the most part they all sound the same to me and none hit like BTS did.
They became my happy pill, helped me connect better emotionally with myself and others, and made me want to become a better person in general. I've never felt connected to an artist like that before. BTS really are a phenomena of their own that people need to experience for themselves to understand. They changed the culture, they have their own sound and concepts and their achievements and impact inside and outside of music are unmatched. They're literally being taught in schools around the world as we speak.
BTS paved the way and nobody can ever come close to their achievements. I can't wait for them to get back in 2025. Let's continue to support them until then because they deserve the world 💜

“They have so much to say in every song” this is very true, cause before enlisting they shared with us that after dynamite/butter they were confused at what direction musically they need to move, probably cause of how huge the success was, and they had to understand what stories they can tell next in the songs , so the creative pause is necessary. I respect them a lot for being honest in that . Wish I had more English lexicon to explain my thoughts well but the idea is understandable 🫠😆

About 6 or 7 years ago my 12 year old daughter listened to them and I didn't give them any importance, then she changed gender and they didn't sounded at home anymore, last year I saw a reaction to a song of theirs and from there, the rest is history, Total Army thinking about selling a kidney to be able to see them in 2025 jajaja, once you know them, their music, their humility, how good and simple people they are, you never abandon them 💜💜💜🇦🇷

Hello. Just let me tell you that I love your reactions. You are not scared to put your emotions out there. In the year 2023 I I ended up sick and died twice, the medical staff did CPR on me for 11 minutes. They put me on a respirator in a medically induced coma. When I woke up, I forgot most of my family, BUT for some reason I remembered my love for BTS and the members. Now that is crazy. I did eventually jog my memory for me family, but the impact that BTS has great meaning for me. They are like no other. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I have a BTS theory, most of us BTS fans have heard of them before but just dismissed their existence due to our preconceived notions. But once we're on our difficult time in our lives, they'll resurface again to help us.
Which is why there's a common phrase "BTS appears when you needed them the most"
A year ago, I wanted to end my existence.
Life for me is just endless suffering & no one really understood me. However, one time I listened to BTS music & understood their message and their existence kept me breathing. It's not exaggeration to say I owe them my life, and I wouldn't still be here typing this comment if they don't exist.

Acompanho o BTS desde o debut em 2013.
Inclusive já fui há alguns shows deles aqui no Brasil... Um em 2015 no espaço das americanas (espaço unimed agora) e dois em 2019 no estádio do palmeiras.
O show de 2015 foi bem pequeno, tanto que consegui ficar pertinho do palco, já em 2019 quase nem consegui ingresso, foi totalmente insano... kkkkkk
Me desespero só de pensar em como serão concorridos os próximos shows

Eles literalmente salvaram a minha vida...em um momento em que não via saída, não acreditava mais nas pessoas, em nada, comecei a minha jornada e a cada mensagem de cada música, restaurava minhas esperanças, minha fé, pode parecer exagero, mas foi exatamente assim...depois de conhecer a história deles, as superações que eles passaram e passam, me vi pensando, "pq eu não consigo tbm?", obviamente não ser como eles, o que eles são, quem eles são, é algo que acho que ngm nunca será pq eles são algo divino, mas pq eu não consigo passar por isso, é só, como eles, eu lutar e não desistir, e assim foi...hj estou firme e forte e os vejo todos os dias pra dar aquela energizada, fico tão feliz qdo alguém os conhece e reconhece, sem preconceitos, pq eu sei que eles tbm farão a diferença na vida dessa pessoa...a gente é mais feliz com eles... parabéns pela sua jornada que começou, será, com certeza, um divisor de águas, na sua vida... ❤

I discovered BTS in high school years ago. I liked a few songs but I never dived far or got interested in them. But years later, my social anxiety grew and my life went a bit downhill. Somehow I got back to them through their dance practices and fell hard. Now they're my anchor. They never fail to make me smile. They encourage and motivate me and I could never be grateful enough to those guys 💜

Encontrei seu canal há 2 dias quando li um comentário sobre um reactor que se emocionou com PTD, vim na intenção de assistir só esse, mas voltei pro primeiro video pra ver na ordem e acabei assistindo tudo de uma vez. Permission to Dance veio num momento muito necessário e me emocionou demais na época, então fico muito feliz de ver que anos depois ela ainda representa esperança e conforta mais pessoas. Como já disseram aqui, o BTS realmente encontra a gente quando a gente mais precisa! Aproveite muito a jornada porque eles ainda tem muito pra te mostrar e saiba que você encontrou e está formando uma comunidade que se apoia de verdade. My husband is now an ARMY. He’s a (combat Veteran) Army retiree.
And my then 78 year old uncle went with us to Day 1 of the BTS concert series in Las Vegas in 2021

I became Army in 2018 when I saw RM speak at Unicef and from there RM became my bias and ot7 is my favorite... without RM BTS is nothing and without all the BTS members RM would not be the best leader so I love everyone BTS members and don't forget to continue to support them, don't insult each other no matter what happens, that's the true Army...borahae 💜

29 yo from the Netherlands. I discovered the boys in november last year (2023). I was in my second major depression and I wasn't coming out of the house. I listened to Jungkook who was going viral for Standing Next to You on youtube and I got very intrigued, because it was a beautiful man with a great song, with great dancing and it gave me joy. I discovered he was part of BTS and that I had listened to another member of BTS before, J-hope with his song Arson, that I really liked. Before I knew it I went down the kpop rabbit hole.
It's 6 months later at this time. BTS and stray kids (whom I discovered in december) helped me through my depression and I've never felt a connection this deep with artists before. I'm really enjoying this journey. BTS Magic Shop song is going to be the inspiration for my next tattoo. I can 100% say I'm no longer a baby army, I'm full on army bc I've seen most of their content over the past 6 months and I know A LOT about the boys and I love them all deeply. While J-hope is my bias and my wreckers are jimin and suga, I love them all. They are giving me the strength to continue and are teaching me to love myself. I'm now working again, I started in december. My job is going well and I'm having fun. I rediscovered my love for music thanks to bts and skz and I've started learning korean as a hobby. Always wanted to do a 3rd language but never started it. I've been going to concerts and recently saw The Rose (another korean group) live with my sister and we were both crying at the concert lol. I've picked up reading again and started reading books that were inspirations for BTS songs, like Demian and Almond. I now have the dream to learn dancing, that's something I really want to do. I never want to lose music or myself again in my life.
BTS finds you when you need them the most. Very true. They found me. 💜 Borahae
P.s. RM said something like: 'If one of our songs, our word, a lyric helped you. If your pain was at 100% and it is now at 99%, 98% or 97%, our existence is worth it'. What you said reminds me of that.

Actually after I started this channel and after reading your comments here, my das got a lot better and do many levels.. and if I think better it has to do to BTS indirectly… I had my own kind of heavy story during last month, and somehow BTS helped me too! O Army dá imenso suporte quando sente a sinceridade em um reator. Amamos o BTS e nos orgulhamos quando alguem vence o preconceito contra "boys bands" e descobre o BTS! 50yo ARMY here! BTS always hits different! They found me 8 years ago in a very difficult period of my life, in which I had lost a close person.
