My favorite BTS song...the concept kept and is still keeping my daughter, who has severe clinical depression and other complex mental health issues, alive. If you like this, you'll love the entire Map of the Soul concept. They go that deep. And the 'Wings' era.

Magic Shop, basically, is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude. The song is based on Dr James Doty's book "Into the Magic Shop " : a type of psychotherapy where a therapist takes on the role of a magic shop owner (it comes from a series of children fantasy novels Magic shop by Bruce Coville) who attempts to barter with “customers” in an attempt to satisfy their needs and wants in a constructive way. When you walk into the magic shop, you may ask for anything or try to sell what you don’t want. Everything comes at a price though. What you come in looking for isn’t always what you leave. A few of the lyrics of Magic Shop talk about how the boys want to replace ARMYs “sadness and pain” for “comfort”, much like the way the psychologist/therapist acts as the shopkeeper to exchange one thing for another. It's the second "offical fan song" after 2!3! , the first JK took a lead in writing and producing, besides RM, Hiss, Adora, J Hope,Suga and others. Song by BTS for Army, to comfort them, and also a promise : BTS will always be there for Army. It's one of my favorite BTS comfort song, (with Serendipity and Zéro o' clock)

As a olDope Silver Army (56yrs) .. my first of several tattoos have become all BTS inspired !!! My First one is this: a BTS logo on my inner arm, so I can see eVeryday !!!! the words “So Show Me” (on one side of logo) “I’ll Show You” (on the other side) and underneath “BEST OF ME” (and the “O” in the word ‘of’ is the ARMY logo!!! This song shows one more time the special connection between BTS and ARMY, it is a reciprocal relationship. One gives strength to the other, in an eternal beautiful loop, the symbols of ARMY and BTS show this powerful connection.

Loja mágica é um conceito psicológico, um lugar que eles dizem ter dentro das pessoas, loja é um lugar onde se adquire coisas kkk e "mágica" é como conseguir lá as coisas que vc acha ser impossível, magia ou fantasia. Em alguns casos o amor próprio e esperança podem parecer coisas de contos de fadas ou distante demais da realidade. Dentro de nós mesmo existe um lugar onde a gente pode encontrar tudo o que precisa na desesperança, entende? eles estão básicamente dizendo "olhe pra dentro de vc, acredito que todas as suas respostas estão dentro de vc. dentro da galaxia que existe dentro de vc" (tem uma musica chamada love myself que fala sobre isso). E nesse lugar eles se colocam como um ítem a disposição que podemos encontrar pra nos ajudar a seguir em frente. Na parte do refrão onde eles falam sobre desespero e desaparecer, na verdade não é só sobre eles, mas a gente também, tipo, quando a gente estiver se odiando e quiser desaparecer, eles vão estar na loja mágica nos esperando e a gente só precisa entrar. Ou seja, procurar por eles quando as coisas estejam difíceis pra conseguir algum tipo de conforto. Eles deixam claro nas coisas que falam que está tudo bem recorrer a eles como um consolo, mas que a gente precisa aprender a recorrer a nos mesmos tanmbém. Mas quando isso for difícil, devemos ver RUN BTS ou ver um mv ou vídeo deles, ou ouvir suas músicas. Jimin e o Taehyung (V) são melhores amigos desde o ensino médio, porém com o tempo, conforme for assistindo entrevistas, RUN BTS, vídeos de bastidores, shows, etc, vc vai ver que todos eles se tocam muito, se abraçam, se cheiram, deitam e sentam um no colo do outro e fazem muito carinho. É uma coisa cultural, os homens coreanos não tem medo de mostrar afeto entre sí. O Suga não gosta muito então ele fica longe quando eles começam a se pegar demais kkk mas quando ele quer, ele só chega perto e espera kkkkkk é engraçado que os meninos entendem quando o Suga quer carinho, eles riem do jeito dele e vão lá dar atenção, ele só fica parado sentindo até expulsar eles dnv. Por isso a gente chama ele de gatinho 🤣 (com a gente eu digo o fandom, os meninos, a mídia e até ele mesmo) a maioria das músicas dos meninos se baseiam em conceitos psicologicos, livros, contos, problemas sociais e questões individuais. Eles leem e estudam muitos tópicos, principalmente o RM, então nenhuma linha é jogada alí por acaso pra encher linguiça, elas são reias e até mesmo quando tem um produtor acompanhando, os maninos analizam a letra pra ver se ela se encaixa no que eles acreditam e vivenciam, eles nunca falam sobre o que não viveram ou vivem. É tudo tão profundo que é comum chamar de toca do coelho kkk e por isso sempre vc vai encontrar o nome deles nos creditos de produção das músicas

Thank you for reacting to this song. Yes that's the magic shop and they are living in our hearts to comfort us and yes it;' a fan song they made for army. It's one of my favourite songs and always give me comfort. Also the MMA is a music award show (Melon music Awards) and the 2019 performance is my fav which people have recommended. They do not perform magic shop there but they perform a lott of songs - BOy with luv, boy in luv also they take a journey through their older songs and it with a song called Dionysus (named after the greek god) and I highly recommend you atleast check out that song before. The performance is incredible and if yppu get the references it;'s a whole journey. There's also a video explaining the performance with the symbolism to greek mythology and their albums explained by a channel called Bookish theories it's very cool and you can check it out too!
