@2:55 that is not green screen, it is an actual set... this video is well known within ARMY as they did not use green screen... you can check out the making of the video, (on Bangtan Tv ) it is fascinating to see how they did all the shots.

the Snickers bar are related to the Bangtan Universe. its a fictional storyline created by BigHit about the BTS members which unfolds in their music videos, webtoons, notes, books etc... yeah. 🤯
Also the water with Jimin, the fire with Suga and the flower petals, all of that caused him confusion..
All the symbolism here is connected to the BU (Bangtan Universe) The fictional storyline that runs through their albums. JHope's character's mom took him to the circus as a child, bought him a candy bar, told him to wait there and then she left and never came back.

Eu amei sua admiração pelo Namjoon (RM). Ele é simplesmente inspirador ... seja nas suas palavras, na sua musica ou no seu modo de ver a vida.
Mesmo estando no serviço militar eles deixaram muita coisa pronta com antecedência.... em 24/05 teremos novo Album do Namjoon... serão 11 musicas e todas autorais. Mais uma obra prima chegando. Mal posso esperar!!

There is a fictional storyline that started in 2015 and connects many songs/albums and other content like webtoons, video games and books. Many MVs are either entirely cinematic with every scene depicting the story and others like this one have “clues” or references to it. Here, the flower, the mirror, the Snickers, the fire, the water and the cellphone are symbols of traumatic/tragic incidents each specific member’s character has faced in the story. Jungkook’s character is seen “discovering” or suspecting the painful realities his friends have been “hiding” from each other (they seem to only relax/unwind/have fun and forget their individual problems when they’re all together, and they don’t want to lose that so they keep their painful situations to themselves out of fear or shame). Not sharing their “real” selves when they’re together results in them drifting apart/losing track of each other and dark/deadly consequences for each of their characters (symbolized by everything breaking/falling apart). In the room behind the waterfall, there’s a robe & a mask, and six empty coat racks, indicating the other (fictional) members are “hiding” behind “masks”. (There’s a rock remix with an extended version of the MV that has more/clearer clues). The song that follows Fake Love in the album is called “The Truth Untold” and addresses the reason(s) & consequences of “wearing a mask”. It’s a beautiful, no-skip album.
The dance relates also to Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru (見ざる, 聞かざる, 言わざる) "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" to that fake love. You see Jin and Jimin covering their eyes, mouth and ears while "I'm so sick of this fake love..." part 😊
The hands ….. it relates to :
Hear No Evil ~ See No Evil ~ Speak No Evil …. As in certain parts of the choreography. 🥹👍🏼
If you've got a good set of headphones or earbuds, I highly, highly recommend using them. There is so much mood in their production that, for me, just doesn't come through when listening through regular speakers.
ARMY did you a little dirty on this video as the visuals are tied into the BTS Universe which has a long in depth story that spans multiple songs/videos/albums. But you did an excellent job grasping the main idea. Well done. And I love your reactions. 💜
11:01 so about those Snickers bar . BTS universe , a fictional story line runs through BTS MVs and jhope's mother gave him a chocolate and told him to close his eyes and count to 10. She left him. That what those Snickers represent

2° - "Fake Love" faz parte da trilogia "Love Yourself" em que foi tratado a busca pelo amor proprio.
* LOVE YOURSELF HER - traz musicas que falam de um amor apaixonado, na expectativa de ser feliz por estar com outra pessoa.
* LOVE YOURSELF TEAR - fala do sofrimento de perceber que o outro não pode te fazer feliz, a desilusão amorosa, a triateza e a depressão. "Fake Love" faz parte desse álbum.
* LOVE YOURSELF ANSWER - mostra que a resposta a tudo isso é o autoamor, é aprender a amar a si mesmo.
3° - o MV faz parte de uma serie de conteúdos do BU (Universo Bangtan) que trata de varios assuntos em torno da saude mental. Existe uma história fictícia, interpretada pelos meninos, que fala sobre experiência traumaticas vividas por 7 amigos. Essa historia é contada através de vários MV's, webtoons, notas e alguns videos curtos. É bem interessante, mas é uma aventura entender tudo isso. A flor dentro da ampulheta, o fogo, a água, os chocolates e muitos outros, são elementos dessa história
Esta saga do BU continua no álbum Wings, que foi baseado no livro "Demian" e fala sobre a dor do crescer, inocência/sedução, bem/mal e tudo que causa duvidas e conflitos na juventude.
Uma coisa que é importante vc saber é que eles não fazem nada vazio ou sem sentido. Tudo tem um propósito.

There is a guide video for "UB" (bangtan universe) I think it would be useful for you to understand the videos of that era, its lyrics are very deep and many times some scenes do not match the lyrics. That's why sometimes it's very confusing when you see it for the first time... I recommend that you listen to the lyrics first and then watch the video... greetings from Paraguay 💜
There are guides but "BU" should be done individuly when person is ready and no really rushed into only to understand parts of video, every MV that is part of "BU" can be looked at without knowlage of BU. 😉

I really appreciate that your willing to learn more about BTS and our fandom too. BTS has been actively releasing music about a variety of topics for almost 11 years now. They have their own fictional storyline that is well known as HYYH , which also has a webtoon called "Save me" (it summarizes and puts HYYH in a somewhat chronological order). HYYH series spans through multiple of their music videos (Mainly from 2016 to 2018-iss) and the whole of their WINGS album (the story also has books too). Then they also have their LOVE YOURSELF trilogy, which are some of their most loved releases till date. I'd recommend you to check the Love yourself trilogy first (HYYH is a lot more dark I'd say. It explores mostly about mental health and traumas, so it'll probably be a really hard and emotional journey) . I hope this helps 💜💜💜💜
The artwork and sculptures literally everything in the mv is real and they built those sets. Most bts mvs are built from scratch even the windows fire and water are real and not cg. The mv is kinda related to their storyline and has a lot of references so its hard to understand completely but I loved your perspective of watching it for the first time. I'lll check out your lyric video too. Also wanna add that this song was a part of their love yourself album series which includes 3 albums and takes you through a journey to loving yourself. this is from the 2nd part love yourself: tear which talks about the negative aspects of love and how the love is fake love because you are not being your true self when you're in love. The mv is also related to the story of smaraldo which is the flower shown at the beginning. If you wanna know more there are a few vids that explain the bangtan universe and the storyline which I'll recommend

Explaination vidros are better than lyric videos for many songs. That is because a one word modifier in korean can give a sentence multiple meanings and RM is clever enough to mean all of them. It will explain cultural and historical references you would miss and give rude meanings.of slang. For instance DKDKTV EXPLAINS BAEPSAE on the surface BAEPSAE has a fun catchy tune. The choreography is hilarious but its one of their most harsh critiques of societal inequalities that younger people face. As you found out from the guide ARMY do not have short attention spans. If you want to do a double header, we dont mind.

Okay Fake Love is about all relationships that can go bad in this way: romantic, familial, work etc. Where you can wear this persona that isn't you and lose yourself in it. It's about realizing that this relationship isn't real and it won't work because it's not based on the real you. It's based on this persona that is a lie. Jungkook picking up the sand and it turns into phantom petals is a representation of the line in the song "I grew a flower that can't bloom in a dream that won't come true" Some of the other aspects like the snickers bars and the toys in the room with J-Hope and fire in the room with Suga are all points that goes back to the BU or Bangtan Universe. BTS has a fictional story line that connects a lot of their videos together and Fake Love has some aspects of that in it.
In the intro of BTS '"Fake Love", Jungkook sings: "Love you so bad, love you so bad / Mold a pretty lie for you ... I grew a flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true ".
These sad lyrics were not just flowery words strung together, as the band intended to tell a story of heartbreak that extended from their previous work.
In the first verse, BTS sings: "I changed everything, just for you / But I don't know me, Who are you?".
The theme of disconnected lovers continues throughout the song. RM brought this up when speaking to Billboard around the time of the song's release. "We're trying to say that if you, in love, when you're not true to yourself, the love won't last", he told.
"Because love is complex and we always have the dark sides and the sad sides."
This song sings the agony of some sort.

Yes, they did say it was about the traumas, it was in the behind MV shooting episode on BANGTANTV.
Jhope's is snickers and the Merry-go-round/Carousel, I don't think is a circus like they also said in the video (maybe it's a translation thing on my end ), in the room there's actually multiple parts of rides from a fair/carnival/amusement park, where he was abandoned.
I really like how you analyze the videos. There is no way to get everything in the mv unless you know the BU storyline but you get the main idea of the video. I think you will do well analyzing the BU as it requires deep thinking. Pretty much all of them are in the traumas they face in the story. RM- in a container, V- the call he made but was never answered, Jin- protecting the flower (his loved ones), Suga- the fire and his music, Jimin- the water in what looks like an asylum, Jhope- the snickers and circus, and JK- looking for the others and facing himself. I won't say much more because if you ever watch the BU, I don't want to spoil it for you. Thanks for your reaction!

Sobre o CGI, bem, são poucos MVs em que o BTS faz uso real e pesado de CGI (tanto que eles são conhecidos como o grupo que mais usa efeitos práticos em seus trabalhos visuais), e Fake Love certamente não é um deles, tudo aí é efeito prático, incluindo o chão caindo e a cena do Jimin parado enquanto a água escorre pelas grades, totalmente real... eu recomendo assistir ao making off desse MV, é muito bom e vai te esclarecer algumas coisas também

2:55 BTS ñ usa tela verde (ñ sei se é assim q chama), demora uns dias pra eles gravarem um mv por exemplo, em mic drop teve várias cenas de explosões e foi de vdd. BTS são os artistas mais completos q eu já vi, eles realmente são mt esforçados😊

Yes first things first. Good headphones are highly recommended. It's night and day, believe me. Would also recommend doing the listening and watching then another run through with lyrics analysis. Both in the same video. This way you can totally ignore the lyrics while you are watching and just concentrate on everything else first. Then appreciate the deep and meaningful lyrics after. Enjoy your journey!
Yeah, the Snickers story is complicated….The BU is heavy and confusing so take your time and just enjoy the music for now. 💜 I like to joke that when you visit Jhope’s house he still has lots of Snickers in the pantry left over from this video. 😂🤣🍫
You’ll understand once going further into bts, the elements in the music video, and the props link to each character in the bts storyline which runs through the entire discography. The fire correlating with Suga (Yoongi), the water with jimin, the snickers bars with jhope (hoseok). In their earlier songs, pills, dr*gs also corresponded with jhopes character in their story. It’s really interesting and detailed, really easy to miss but so well written and performed perfectly by the members. I’d definitely recommend reading into it and watching the music videos that relate and link. Such as “I need u extended version” and “run”
Since the beginning it’s all bts have been about. They began in school in their storyline, talking about the corrupt school system, their story followed them into young adulthood and the struggles faced with being an adult. The storyline is technically still ongoing, it was never fully finished or confirmed as Covid hit, military happened, so it is definitely amazing you may be able to experience the end of the storyline in real time.
13:43 Also a little Easter egg in the fake love mv is if you flip your screen around you will notice that the save me says “I’m fine” when flipped. Also referenced to their songs “save me” and “I’m fine” which they used the same beat but changed it slightly.

I want to recommend that for the dynamics of your videos you can first see the MV and then the color-coded lyrics so that you can see who sings each part and distinguish them by their voices, and if you want you can also add the dance practices, which are great. BTW, the fact that you used the word "inevitable" speaks to your excellent English. Just so you'll know, the emphasis is on the 2nd syllable: in-EV-itable.
In college (decades ago), I had a one month long class that was 6 hours everyday. In the morning, we had 3 hours of Brazil's & Portugal's History, followed by 3 hours of Portuguese language. Our professor was an old guy with a bad comb-over, who wrote everything on the chalkboard extremely fast, while also talking extremely fast, mostly with his back turned to the class.
We had to take frantic notes the whole time, writing as fast as we could, before he erased the board with his hand. Then he would slap his chalk-covered hand on either his head or his butt while he talked, leaving chalk hand prints in his hair & on the back pocket of his pants! (He didn't realize it, he just gestured with his hands very enthusiastically when he talked.)
I wish I could remember anything I learned in that class. It was really not a good way to learn, lol! It was over 30 years ago & all I remember is the crazy professor, me trying to memorize the entire history & the language within a month, & the phrase "janela amarela." 😂

The whole MV is related to their storyline, so it makes sense that you don't understand.
The flower for Jin, the fire for Yoongi, the chocolate bars for Hobi, the containers for Namjoon, the water for Jimin, the phone for Tae and JK's story is a little more confusing without context in this one.
If you want to watch the beginning, you should watch I Need U (original), The On Stage Prologue and then Run (there's a "Run" and a "Run BTS". It is "Run" that you should check for the storyline)

Многие, к сожалению, находят в нем утешение (потому что, да, он вызывает выработку гормонов и ты чувствуешь себя лучше). Я не виню и не стыжу этих людей, но, по факту - это путь в никуда. Все хорошо в меру. Многие ищут утешения в еде, в десертах. Не мимолетно, а постоянно. Поэтому, лично для меня, в данном клипе куча шоколада и сцена с ним смотрится органично. Но, все мы знаем о том, что парни всегда вкладывают свой глубинный смысл в свои клипы))

For me, the song represents everything a person was willing to happily go through...symbolized by fire, water, depriving them self of what they love (candy)....to PLEASE another, to prove how far you are willing to go to make someone else happy. But it wasn't love, it's fake...it can't go on. A person can't extinguish who they are to please another., but they tried. It's hard to admit they've been doing so and that's why they are in so much pain. They are afraid to 'fail' or give up trying, but eventually the mask comes off. The almost fetal position V is in on the candy is very important. Yes, it was me. I have gone and come full circle. I understand this song well. What I don't understand is how someone with little or no experience of such things could write this song. I really want to ask him. Also, I'm not sure that doing the lyric video will be of as much help in understanding the song as an explanation video would be, if you can find one...I suggest always look for one. For example, the introduction for the Map of the Soul series is very important. It is RM's rap 'Persona' followed by the explanation video is a must. Borahae

Ahh so this sculpture is a set, but it is actually big photo/paiting that looks soo much 3D in MV that most aren't sure 😉 it is "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil".

O significado da letra no sentido mais aceito (que se encaixa melhor no BU) é como um monólogo, porque Love Yourself, a série da álbuns cujo Fake love entra no segundo, fala majoritariamente sobre a procura do amor próprio, da redenção, cura dos traumas. A série anterior, HYYH, que inclui também o álbum Wings, falam sobre esses traumas, a descoberta das tentações, a juventude no geral, sofrimento. Fake love é como um desabafo, ao mesmo tempo que um grito de raiva. Os visuais, como maioria dos armys explicou, tem a ver com a história original que corre em maioria dos music videos deles, incluindo black swan de certa forma, assim como mic drop. É bem complexo e talvez você não irá querer adentrar nisso kk apesar de ser muito interessante, é um lado mais de quem realmente aficionado por BTS, hardcore armys
Yup as my fellow Army mentioned it’s part of an incredible fictional story that you can discover the clues and meaning through the music videos and more, it’s a smart way to enjoy a music video by finding clues and connecting the storylines..A glimpse of the story. the Snicker bars well it was given to Jhope’s character by his mom before she told him to close his eyes in the park and abandoned him for good, so he is tormented by the chocolate bars. Or even, watch it, react to it, and then go to a good source of translated lyrics, for instance: Doolset BTS English lyrics (It's a blog). And there break down the lyrics. For many songs it is also worth to watch the explanation video (for instance: spring day, ugh, ddaeng, idol, and some others. Bookish theories, and dkdktv are the best). These are my suggestions, you try what is more comfortable to you, since you are also busy.
