Can Barbecue Meatballs & Cheese Grits compete with soup and chili? You bet! Chef Tom continues our winter comfort food theme with this recipe including meatballs smoked on the YS640s pellet grill, he even shows us how to make a beef gel to keep the meatballs made from ground brisket and ground pork extra juicy. Mixed with seasoning from Plowboys Bovine Bold and covered in Big Rick's Chipotle Barbecue Sauce, nothing can go wrong! But wait! There's more! Chef Tom then lays everything on a bed of cheesy grits from Marsh Hen Mill and tops it with some Pit Fire hot sauce for even more texture and flavor.

for whisking in powders like gelatin and beef stock I like to use those battery powdered milk frothers, they are like $10 and mix like you wouldn't believe

These videos always inspire me to make my own and they tend to come out well. However, I get discouraged when I see too many proprietary ingredients I’d have to make a substitution for unless I order it. I like the video but can’t save it since I have to be realistic.
