I can't imagine two more diametrically opposed philosophies than those held by Bane and The Joker. Bane is a fanatic motivated by his (admittedly extremely twisted) idea of justice. 1)How did Bruce Wayne got from the middle of nowhere in to the Gotham while it was closed off and he had literally no money or power at his disposal with his back still getting healed.
2)How did Bane know where Batman's lair was so certainly that he was able to plan fighting right under it.
3)How the hell did he manage to cure his broken back in a few months.
4)How did NO ONE in Italy notice that "Oh this guy who is really famous in America was supposed to be dead but is right now living here.Did Bruce really think Bill Gates of his world would go unnoticed if he just went to another country?
5)How the hell was "Robin" able to find out he was Batman by just listening to him while commisoner Gordan wasn't able to throught the whole fucking trilogy?
Here goes the ones i can pull out from the top of my head with the last time i watched the movie being at least a year prior to now.(Batman is Batman for less than a year throught the trilogy by the way.)

    • @elecore161

Sarper Doğan 1) err... he just need a nearby telephone and make some calls. He must have some alias like hollywood stars to travel to other countries and check-in at hotels and stuff. He must have contacts. Friends around the world! He's Bruce Wayne like u said. Richest man in the planet... Anyone in the world would recognize him like you said!
He can solve thins not needing to show that he's Batman...
      2) Bane knew because of Thalia... She was working for Lucius/Bruce Wayne and gathered informations.. She's a smart person. She is the head of league of shadows for christ sake. Bruce and Lucius trusted her.. a lot. They made her the CEO of the company. Try to guess what you can do as CEO and as spy... like navigate and hack in their computers, locate the Applied Sciences division that was shut down... etc etc.
That's was really easy to guess by just watching the movie. I had no doubt!
      3) His back was not Broken. Like snap in half or cracked. Just a little bit displaced. You understand that when you see how they manage do cure his back using a rope to relocate his column. Just my interpretation cause that part is not clear. So... who said it was broken? Just because you saw in the comics? It's isn't identical... Poetic license. Reference. Not copy!
4)You are right about that but we can forgive that. The main point is that Batman as we know is dead. And no one beside his comrades know that bat and Bruce are the same person. That's the real secret. If someone says that Bruce is alive in another country no one will relate him with Batman. Not a big deal you see. Batman is still dead. Screw it if Bruce faked his death and escaped his girlfriend.
      5) That's not a plot hole. Gordon didn't knew cause he never checked batman past and never crossed in his mind that Bruce was batman because of Bruce Wayne behavior. He always saw Bruce as a regular rich spoiled kid, playboy douche that cares nothing besides himself. That's how it works in the comic book. And the film explains how Robin manage to get into that conclusion. I know that's silly but is the character thinking and guessing. Not necessary a plot hole. Plot hole is more like paradox or some kind of error of script writing that ruins the general cohesion of the movie. Not because some character believes that Bruce is Batman because of his personal past and feelings. There is no hole in that. It's just a bit silly.. but not a script failure

The doctors in the prison discuss how Bane's mask relieves the pain in his body, which was brutalized during the riot caused by Talia's escape. During the sewer scene when Gordon is captured, we also notice that Bane has a scar running down his spine. We assume this was a result of the surgery, and that the mask relieves the pain. However, I was wondering if perhaps the mask relieved ALL pain. Meaning that Bane couldn't be hurt. This would explain why he could take such a beating from Batman.

The film does not visually show how Bruce got back to Gotham, because it is already established Bruce already had these skills from Batman Begins. The Dark Knight Rises has two mis-en-scene allusions to this previous film to remind the audience of this: Bruce wearing rough clothing with a makeshift travel bag on the tough terrain after leaving the pit alludes to Bruce traveling the Tibetan mountains in Batman Begins. Selina sharing an apple with the orphan before Bruce returns alludes the Batman Begin's scene when Bruce shared an apple with a boy in sub-Saharan Africa. In Batman Begins, Bruce traveled the world for 7 years in poverty and no other resources --sneaking and stealing his way by-- to understand the minds of criminals. Then, when he was trained by the League of Shadows, he mastered the use of theatricality, "invisibility", and other ninja skills. It is obvious Bruce could have just got back to the U.S. by sneaking in a plane or boat, faking a passport, etc. (Also, although Bruce got back to the U.S. through a private jet in Batman Begins, the same film shows him burning his wallet, giving his coat to a hobo, and then sneaking into a boat by the Gotham port to leave the U.S. So, he has the ability to do transatlantic travel all by himself.)
In terms of getting into Gotham, Gotham wasn't technically quarantined, as food shipments were allowed in. Citizens just weren't allowed out. The film itself establishes direct explanation for getting onto the island--the Special Forces being undercover as men delivering supplies. It proves that other people were also successfully sneaking into the city during Occupied Gotham.

+GameStation3 I have no problem with this "plot hole." But a lot of people actually do...and he could have undercut this criticism with a 10 second scene. So, he should have done it. Explaining to these people why they shouldn't have a problem with it works about as well as them explaining to me why I should have a problem with it. But a 10 second scene would work like a charm.

DramaHateNation deadpool is the best and most faith full portrayal of a comicbook movie since there is no other superhero that perfected their comicbook counterpart.
The villain was weak but thats not his fault, more time was given to deadpool than the villains. Even though Christian Bale is still my favorite batman, his performance as batman was weak compared to the joker and since the joker talked in his normal crazy voice, while batman was a little hard to understand without using subtitles. Plus we all know that the joker is the reason why the dark knight is one of the best comicbook movies ever made.
And yes i agree with you, deadpools story was weak but the producers were able to make a simple revenge story into an awesome superhero movie. Unlike in dark knight where the story was better but it had too many coincidences. Plus the ending fight for deadpool was better than the last fight with batman and joker. I love both movies but I think deadpool is the superior movie.

U may personally like it more but the movie is about as linear as a call of duty game and couldve been written by anyone and has the biggest movie cliches ever. Its something weve seen a billion times. If the fight scenes werent good, there would be no reason to watch that movie bcuz the story was mediocre at best and very predictable. The movie as a whole was a good movie to me. The movie did what it was trying to do and thats make a good action movie.
The dark knight has alot of polt points going on at once so you stay invested in its story. The dark knight rises could have terrible action sequences and still be a great movie bcuz its solely driven on its story and its characters.

At the time, after TDK and Inception, his reputation was at an all time high, and he had a lot of crazy fanboys who was saying that he's the next Kubrick, etc, and haters were looking for any excuse to tear them down. To be fair, there WERE some plot holes, and the plot is pretty unwieldy to fit in one movie, it easily could have been split into two movies, but nevertheless, like you said, it's so emotionally resonant and is probably the only Batman story where Bruce gets a happy ending.

I think that John Blake needs to be written into the comics now, to be honest. LOVE that character, and JGL was fantastic.

I just saw it for the 4th time this past weekend. It's still awesome! My Grandfather went with me this time, he really liked it alot also, especially since he read the comics as a kid. I've seen it 4 times, and I still can't get enough of it!

I don’t know if this will ever be seen but spoiler alert!!
I hated how Bane died in the film. I thought it was very very anticlimactic and it felt very disrespectful to the character of Bane. He was such a great villain and I felt that his death should’ve been handled with more respect.

I agree. Other than a few plot holes, Bane's death was the only major problem I had with the movie. Very abrupt, very anticlimactic and not satisfying at all. It was a huge disservice to the character.

It's funny though. DKR has some brilliant characters and character development, where as for me Interstellar left me completely cold in regards to the characters.

What's also cool about Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character, John Blake, is that he's a mix of all three of the first Robins. I'm not kidding! Let me explain:
    1. Dick Grayson became a police officer during his time as Nightwing.
    2. Jason Todd was enraged that his parents were killed by a mugger and wanted to do something about the crime in Gotham.
    3. Tim Drake used his detective skills to deduce the secret identities of Batman and Robin.

Him screaming when he was in fight stance as Bane is walking toward him was so chilling. I agree that that part made the scene, just him knowing I am completely fucked and what have I gotten myself into. It was just raw emotion.
