Used the techniques taught on this channel with great affect. In three jumps I improved my back and sit flying from not being able to do it at all to more increased times in those positions.

Oh, man! I enjoy watching videos about parachuting. I did 4 or 5 static line jumps, and two 14K' tandem jumps back in the day. They were all great experiences. My first jump started with a pretty good line twist. In fact, the "guy in my ear" (on radio) said he saw it, keep working it, and he would keep watch of me. If he said to cut it, I was to pull the reserve immediately. I kicked like hell and was cranking the risers apart, and cleared it. In fact, I went past "clear" and twisted around 4 or 5 times in the other direction, but got that one out quickly. In my log, the jumpmaster made a note of it, and said I "handled it well". She also noted I had a huge grin when I let go of the wing spar! lol My third jump had a great landing, until I was jerked backward by wind and took off through the desert on my back. (This was at Skydive AZ. when it was in Coolidge). Went through some bushes, crossed a dirt road, and eventually stopped about 80' later. Luckily, no cacti were involved. We were taught what to do if that happened, which was to pull down on one of the steering lines as far as you could to spin the chute into the ground. The ground guy asked if I did that, and I said I pulled it down as far as I could reach, like just above my knee. He kind of laughed and said "..and keep pulling it!" while making a hand over hand gesture. I wasn't told to do that! Five of us went down there to jump, but only 2 of us were on that flight. They stopped jumping after our flight due to the wind. The others jumped the next day, and the two of us went down with them, so we were able to pay just for a jump and went again. Two jumps in two days was fine with me!
Anyway, the main reason I commented was I saw the thumbnail image, and thought "Cool. Parachuting!". Then I read the video title. And started laughing. And laughed for about 15 minutes straight here. I read the title as "How To Sh_tfly". WTF! No way! How in the....? Why....? Can't make it a couple minutes to the ground....? lol. I knew about the "brown bombs/mud pigeons" that rock climbers sailed off of El Capitan in Yosemite, but no way was this gonna work here! I finally realized what I did, but it must have hit me just right because I laughed my ass off! Oh well. Good memories and a good laugh aren't a bad thing! Thx!
