  • Sydney Kennett is one of the world's best indoor skydivers. The 14-year-old champion moves with the grace of a ballerina inside wind tunnels that propel air in excess of 100 miles per hour. Sydney holds numerous top prizes at competitions around the world, and she's even a Guinness World Record holder.

Not necessarily. The tunnel in NC started a program for a membership program $500/month which gave you either the potential for 5 minutes a day or 30 minutes per week. So you share your time with someone else and it goes to potentially hours per week. Other places have adopted this. Also most if not all the kids in this sport have parents in the industry. @@zconsci I've done it and there's a springy bottom sort of like a trampoline but sturdier and fewer/thicker wires. It doesn't hurt to hit it. And for the ceiling, you can't hit it because of the way the air flow system works-after the glass ends it disperses more towards the sides so even if you go up super fast you will automatically lose lift after you pass that point. And to what zeu said, there was an instructor to guide the first flights. He let me go and I did occasionally bump the sides but there was no slamming because you use your arms and legs to push back. All in all, super fun experience-if you have the money!
