- 1984 Peterbilt 357 Limited Edition Canadian Class with a 400 Cummins Big cam 3
This was my first rebuild on any diesel engine. Took me 2 months, after work and on weekends. Lots of research and purchased a pdf version of the shop manuals online. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Sorry to hear the news. God gained a good mechanic and he got his wings. R.I.P. and Godspeed my friend.
Hi Michael, unfortunately we lost Brian to Cancer last December 2013. We've lost another one of "The Greats" He will be missed but not forgotten.
I don't know you but I give you my dearest condolences.
Nice Peterbilt
I am very sorry to hear that. I've been 4 years and I just saw this comment today.
I am a driver and just stumbled upon your video. My condolences. That first start was for Brian as far as I am concerned. Nice video

That's the face of a happy camper there.
I have the same exact motor but in a 1991 KW T-800 day cab. I love these motors. Great Job, i love to hear my truck cold start every morning before work.

Sounds perfect.
Sweet good job
happy family!
I like your truck!
Nice Ole' Pete!
Sounds good
Nice Ride Driver......
Nice work on the rebuild! She sounds good. How's she running almost 3 years later? Did you have to do any machining work or were you able to do everything at home? At the moment I have no proper tools for rebuilding a diesel engine but I would like to do a similar project some day.
This is something I am thinking of doing and in the same position as far as manuals and work.
👍
By the way, that's a 359, not a 357. The 357 came out a few years later and most of them were used as heavy-haul or vocational work trucks, not over-the-road trucks.
Nope! It's a 379!
@@DawnNLN-ee2kh 359
@@DawnNLN-ee2kh Definitely not a 379.....
