Hi there.. I just got to say I love your videos and thank you so much, they really help me with streaming.. I have a slot channel, I only ever done videos but they all wanted me to stream. I have done 2 streams now but I was reading the chat from my phone. My question is, I have an overlay in OBS but that doesn't show on my screen, it is there when I edit the videos, so will the chat be there on my screen when I stream or will it be like the overlay and only be there in the recorded video? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you..

Click Settings, game overlay, in game overlay it will say "Overlay Opacity" then you toggle which % transparency you want!

If you re-install your PC and StreamLabs OBS pulls your saved profile, the ''enable in-game'' overlay feature is disabled by default. Spent way too much time going through all the settings, except this one. This video reminded me of this settings existance in 15seconds flat. Thanks!

I got all this set up, but the chat & recent events box is a bit big on my screen because I play on a 14 inch laptop. Is there any way to resize these boxes? I mainly want to resize the recent events box as I don't care about that as much as the chat, but if both are possible that would be great! Its just a bit too big for my liking so if anyone knows if you can resize, let me know.
