Question, about botrix permissions to - see, edit, and permanently delete your CZcams videos, ratings, comments and captions. Is there a alternative? I don't like taking risk like that.

Sadly some games just don't work with any transparent chat. Tried both the Restream Chat and the Botrix/twitch overlay thing, they work on some games that allow for Borderless mode, but never on fullscreen games.
I believe there's a program you can get that will turn fullscreen games into borderless, haven't tried it myself tho

@@CpawsMusic Wow I didn't expect you to answer, but honestly I want you to know how much I appreciate your help man. I've been streaming, mostly on youtube, for about 5 years but I've never been able to see my viewers comments which I was never able to fix entirely until yesterday when I thought about googling for a plugin. This problem is also a reason why I don't have many subscribers, only 200. But I'm still happy and thankful. There is one question though, the app does not show comments when I'm in a game that goes fullscreen. I managed to fix that problem by setting the games to unwindowed instead but there were some games that didn't have that option like Titan Fall 2 which had the biggest activity on my channel. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me about it, maybe in your stream or wherever you see fit.
I’ll try this out, but I have a feeling it’ll lag out my game on my already-can-barely-stream laptop

So i did a 2.5 hour livestream and Botrix never showed up in my stream chat. I did everything. I started the stream in youtube studio, then in streamlabs, i don't know what happened :(
I'd recommend posting in the botrix discord and they can look closer into it for your channel :D

Thank you so much, but I was having problems with starting a second stream. In the test run I was able to have the overlay display my message that I put in the chat, ended that stream and streamed again but this time it did not show chat's messages and I really don't know why, it only showed the past stream so i exited and i opened it up again and with a blank chat box I had other people write, but the chat box stayed empty :(
Usually that means that botrix hasn't joined your chat yet, so you'll have to wait usually 5-15 mins for it to show up

Hey, thanks a lot for the video!! I was using this chat overlay for Twitch because I multistream on Twitch and CZcams. Do you know if I can have 2 windows? One for the CZcams chat and the other for Twitch? Or by just using the Multi-Stream option from the Chat Overlay in Botrix should work?
I'd recommend just using the multistream botrix chat option with platform icons enabled

I tried to add a window capture source on OBS and selected twitch chat overlay but the overlay window is just showing up empty and black on OBS and not transparent with comments. Do I need to capture my whole screen in order to display the live chat on screen or is there a different way to just have my game and a separate overlay for the chat that I can move around in OBS without having to move it on my screen?
You can use a tool like botrix to display the chat separately or you can use a display capture instead to capture your whole screen
good channel off the topic, since you made videos about how to stream on kick with obs why not make a video about how to setup a discord server will all the bots we need. because you are so good i'm sure we all gonna benefit from that. thank you

doing this it ask botrix to grant access into our google acc to be signed into youtube nothin to worry bout or put not accept permissions?
They made a statement on that basically saying that google only has a few tiers of permissions that they can give and the one they needed was included in the higher tier. I personally haven't had any issues though.

Ty! But there’s a problem. So basically when I go to the CZcams page creating the live stream with the chatbot on, it doesn’t show. I turn it off leaving it for a second then I activate it again, I go back to the chat in the CZcams page but it still doesn’t show the alert from the ChatBot. How can I fix it? Also I waited 30-40 seconds.
You need to wait much longer than that. For the first time you link it, it can take up to 60mins, but on average it takes about 3 - 10 mins

Is there a way to change the transparancy for the messages? I like this solution alot, only would love it to be completely transparant and only show the text
If there is then it should be somewhere in the settings or if you right click the top of the window, not 100% sure since I haven't used it in a hot minute haha
Once chat overlay is open right click border n adjust transparency then on border beside minimise n exit you can hide the borders

It's a false positive alert from your antivirus, it's pretty common with 3rd party software

Try and see if you can play your game in borderless windowed mode
it doesn't work for me, I did as you did and botrix doesn't send messages in the YT chat, and I don't know why it happens, and as I said, everything is set as you showed, i waited 20 minutes and nothing happened

Usually it takes a while after being live for the first time to connect, like 15-20mins

it doesn't work I was streaming for 2 minutes and Botrix did not show up
sometimes it can take up to an hour if it's your first time using it, otherwise it takes anywhere from 2-15 mins

Followed step by step and something is not working right., You posted on my site and I did like 2 live's so you can see what I did.
Just watched your stream. I would double check that you connected the correct youtube channel to botrix and that you modded the correct botrix account to your youtube standard moderators. Then maybe try turning the chatbot on/off more than once if it doesn't show up within like 30 seconds or so.
