This worked for samsung galaxy j3... my son dropped his phone and only had it for a month. now the power button is not working and ive seen a lot of tutorials but this is the only one that wored. i did it exactly how he as he explained in the video and worked like a charm. saved me some $$$$$ Thank you..

@@luisespinal3106 That might be a different issue. Sounds like you might need to reset the phone to factory settings, but you may loose all data if you do that.

worked PERFECT! I plugged in my charger (into the outlet) then I took battery out for 10 secs then put back in. I did like fidget with something but I know it worked cuz this video! THANK u
worked for me. took me 1-2minutes. works for me like this: plugin the cable, when you see the icon, pull the battery off until the battery icon disappears. then put it back in and pull the usb.
WTF :D I tried it about 4 or more hours with putting the battery back immediately after removing. But waiting until the icon disappears worked in the first try. Thanks :D

Removing the cable first (as soon as the battery icon appears) and then removing and putting back the battery solved this. Hope this slightly different order helps anyone else also panicking!
