Growing up in the 1960s I watched this show almost all the way to its final season. I thought Bev Garland and Tina Cole were really good additions to the show and have re-watched episodes I likely missed when I got older in the 1970s for its ending. Thanks for placing on CZcams.

One of my favorite shows. But I wish they'd show reruns of when Chip met Polly. Boy the 60's, that sure takes me back and I sure miss those times. I remember the King Family very well. My grandfather looked liked that but he died at 66. Men had a crush on her and Women had a crush on him. (Robby).

I had no idea how great a singer Tina Cole is.
Many forget that she is a member of the very talented King Family. I got to work with them for a week. The Kings were really nice people. And I too had a crush on Tina!
When I was a kid, one of my Barbie type dolls looked exactly like Tina Cole...same hair and face.The doll's name was Casey, and she was supposed to be a friend of Barbie, along with Midge.I had that one, too.I always watched My Three Sons when new.Tina hasn't aged much on the interview.
Actually, Michelle, Casey was not Barbie's friend, but Francie's. In the mid-sixties, Mattel took advantage of the cultural changes brought about by the British Invasion, and created a new 'in-between' line of dolls. "Francie Fairchild" was introduced in 1966 as Barbie's "mod" cousin; approximately a half-inch smaller in size, she was presumed to be older than Skipper, but younger than Barbie/Midge - around 16 or 17. In 1967, Casey was created as a friend for Francie, and a Twiggy doll (made to resemble the famous model) was also added.
For several years, Mattel executives were concerned that they were missing out on the segment of the doll-buying market whose mothers looked with concern/distaste at buying full-breasted, curvaceous-hipped dolls for their daughters to play with. Whether or not this was a factor, there was no mistaking that, in addition to being shorter, the "mod" line dolls did display somewhat less 'shapely' figures than the wasp-waisted, pert-breasted Barbie & Midge. They were introduced with a full line of their own Carnaby Street-influenced designer clothing.
I agree: the Casey doll does closely resemble Tina Cole. It wouldn't be surprising if Mattel modeled the Casey head to look like Cole, who had appeared on "My Three Sons" in small unrelated 'girlfriend' roles in 1964, 1965, and 1966, and was familiar to television viewers as part of the King Family Singers. As the first woman to play a permanent part on the very popular "My Three Sons", and as part of the 'Robbie gets married' storyline, she received a huge amount of publicity. She had a look that was popular with a great many young women in the mid-sixties, when Mattel introduced Casey and Francie.
While Mattel continued to market the Francie doll for ten years, Casey was not as fortunate. By 1970, she was toast. Indeed, by then, her short blonde bob look more closely resembled that of a California suburban mom than a hip adolescent. In keeping with her namesake's fading popularity, the Twiggy doll, too, was phased out in 1969.

I wish someone would figure out why My Three Sons does not come out with a complete dvd set for all seasons.
Because CBS is greedy, and has released the currently available seasons in two parts each, which hasn't sat well with afficianados. Also probably due to the music licensing issues. I believe CBS is too cheap to pay the original performers, and is since unable to use some music beds that have become synonomous with the (affected) episodes. No one wants to watch an episode with some non-original music dubbed in.

I watch My Three Sons every weekday morning. Fantastic funny show. Real. Even the beginning in b & w are hilarious..typical household with three boys. Wise, gentle father.

Beverly and her daughter coming on did add to the show and gave it more life for a couple more years before it ended.
Just checked and she is still alive on 2-13-20, 76 years old.

The Shows from the 60s and the 70s Were Alot Better than the Crap that is on Today. Thank You Ms. Cole for being part of that Era.
Tina Cole had a bit of practice on the show before she joined it as Katie, as she made at least 2 guest appearances on the show as other love interests of Robbie.
I watch every morning. This is the second time watching the series. Of course she's big she's got triplets in there.

I think she was perfectly cast for the role and looks very good for this interview. I was only 8 or 9, but had a crush on her and the other women on this show.
When Tina Cole appeared on the show, is when I started watching it. I was a teen then and noticed girls. Tina was the girl every guy would have fallen for. During that time, I believe many of us were looking for our own Katie Douglas. She was always as cute as a button and still is.
metvfresno .. I was Soooooooooooooooo upset when Leave it to Beaver was taken out from TWO Episodes at 8 am to only ONE!!! I would LOVE to see episodes in the early evening and late too. Also, on the WEEKENDS !!! Many of my family and circle of friends would love it too! It's many people's FAV show from that time! We could watch it over and over again!!!! Please bring on more episodes times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tina cole as a regular on my three sons, was a good addition to the cast. she became robbies wife katie. for 5 seasons she was americas sweetheart on tv as reporter john malos said. tina cole still looks good in her 70s than she looked in her younger days.

thinking back, i think that they were really wise in the picks for the three daughters-in-laws for the show: meredith mcrae, tina cole, and ronnie troup. all three real-life daughters of entertainment families!
They changed networks again and the living room set was changed to make it appear as if the family moved and had a different house. I thought that it was so strange that the living room set was so small. It was much smaller than the two houses that the family had previously lived in. And now, they had a mother and robbies, wife, and three babies, and the wife’s child living with them!
There was only two houses: Bryant Park, and California.

Tina, being a female coming into an all male household can be a challenge sometime. Katie probably didn't know what she was getting herself into. Eventually, Katie adapted to the situation.
Just rented Palm Springs Weekend on On Demand...and she was so beautiful looked her up...oh yes...My Three Sons!! Yep loved that show. Gorgeous woman.
I wish they come out with the entire series. I have the first two years on dvd but they took out DeVol 's music. I still have vhf tapes.

I don’t remember three strollers and I watch it every weekday morning. It was one big stroller. At least it was when they were smaller.
I watch My Three Sons every morning, but where I live it's on at 6:30 am.

Lani O’Grady died of an overdose.
Lani died young, & Don passed away maybe 5 years ago
Don took Grady, his mother's maiden name, as his stage name. His sister used Grady at first then added the O' when she got the part on 8 is Enough.
