It is so cool to hear all of these together. This video makes me appreciate the LSU fight song even more. I love how it changes to a faster tempo and ends with a punch. I also love the Tennessee fight song. I heard that so much when I watched Peyton Manning play.

Huh missouris fights song is set to the tune of "Its a long way to Tipperary" a British World War 1 song
Missouri's is actually two songs. Long Way to Tipparary is just the first part of it.

I’m biased as someone who used to be in the Mighty Sound of the Southeast (South Carolina’s marching band), but I love our fight song! This video is missing the best part of it in my opinion (spelling out Carolina/when we flip the letters on the field during pregame).
Kentucky is my second favorite but also biased for that one because of being in marching band at a high school that uses UK’s fight song (the first band director at my high school was a UK alum).
All of the SEC hears the alabama fight song like a broken record lol

@@hydraFB, The Big 12 inherited the history of the Big 8 and the SWC. It is the closest thing to "back home" for the Hogs.

I'm only to "Rocky Top" at 8 and already passed a couple of my favorites, thanks to opposing high schools to the team I support smoking my team or another on the team "On U of K" and "Hail State" are great to me, but they're also familiar to me as well.
As a Florida grad from Arkansas, I gotta salute your rankings!

Even though Texas A&M and Arkansas were in the southwest conference this means I love these two teams
Is Mizzou's fight song 'It's a Long Way to Tipperary?' Sounds like it at the beginning.
It is, I first heard it the song in my high school history class ling before I knew it was Mizzou’s fight song.
So we have two fightsongs separated by the chant, and the first is the tune to Its a Long Way to Tipperary. The soldier students brought it back with them from WW1. Oregon's fight song is actually the harmony to IaLWtT, so if Mizzou and Oregon played their fight songs at the same time, it would be complementary. The fight song after the chant is unique to Mizzou though.
“Forward Rebels” is not as good as “Dixie” was, but it’s not the worst and definitely deserved to be higher. Tennessee has the best though, Rocky Top is iconic.
Alabama fan here, I really like Georgia's, Texas A&M, Kentucky and LSU!👍🏽👍🏽

Edit: Most of the other ones sound very similar but I am a UT fan so I have to be a little biased
Rocky Top is for sure one of the greatest songs in the SEC repertoire, but its not TN's actual fight song

Mizzou number 9 is underrated in my opinion

Also, "Rocky Top," even though it's not the actual fight song, is like "Hot Time" for Wisconsin. "Hot Time" is part of their TD celebration, but they also have "On Wisconsin." Both songs are ones EVERYONE knows.
UGA’s fight song is Hail to Georgia, not Glory, Glory to Old Georgia. That is also similar.

With my comment, I was referencing situations like Georgia’s where they have another song, but “Glory” is VERY prominent with the Dawgs where it may well be their signature song.

As an FSU fan. For me in my opinion in top 6 is 1. Texas AM. 2. Tennessee. 3. Louisiana. 4. Florida gators. 5. Alabama. And 6th. Auburn.

my sister gos to a high school and Kentucky has the same fight song as her high school.
If they're Wildcats, no surprise. The rival high school to the team I back uses "On, On U of K" and they're Wildcats who use the same logo, different letter than Kentucky ("W" instead of a "K" due to school name).

Hydra Understandable. I think the SEC as a whole has pretty good fight songs. I’m a “little” biased for Hail State as I am a Tuba Player in the FMB

While "Rocky Top" is played a lot for UT, it is not the fight song. The offical fight song is "Down the Feild" you can hear this played right after the touch down or during the opening of the T during pre-game.

My favorites are probably Mizzou and University of Texas. I’m a Mizzou fan, and Texas Fight is my high schools fight song. (I know it isn’t on here, but I feel like it’s relevant considering they are moving to the sec)
