SEC Fight Songs Ranked (Updated)

- I wasn’t going to make this till next year but I’ve been sick lately and really needed something to cheer myself up.
I know a few of them aren’t the official fight songs of certain universities but I chose the ones I like.
With Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC, I made this updated ranking of the SEC fight songs. This conference might be the hardest to rank.
All logos and fight songs belong to their respective universities. I do not own any of it, this is simply for entertainment purposes only. - Hry
The Bands playing these Fight songs are what make college football so exciting. I remember big plays to win or lose games because the Fight Song being played at that very moment. Sometimes it's great while other times heart sinking.
Yeah the NFL should do that but college sports so special
The story behind the War Hymn is actually pretty neat. Imagine being a Marine trapped in the Argonne with the Kaiser's men shooting at you. What do you think of? "Man I REALLY hate the Longhorns."
But ranking SC that low? Bruh.
I stand by saying this conference is the hardest to rank (formerly now Big 12 is)

Oklahoma has two fight songs, it's just that nobody recognizes "OK Oklahoma," though it's played all the time, because "Boomer Sooner" is an earworm.
So what if that's what it sounds like.
We have more national titles and heismans than the other school, but I ain't gonna argue bout nothin, cuz everyone gonna always take Texas side cuz they're the larger population.
Mizzou is strange. They actually have two fight songs. Every True Son and Fight Tigers. If I am correct, they play one after the other.
We do! Every True Son is based off the Irish song, its a long way to Tipperary, after ww1 mizzou vets who fought with Irish soldiers changed the lyrics to be our 1st fight song. Fight tiger was created after ww2 when faculty noticed campus morale was low, so they held a competition for a fight song! Fight tiger won but instead of replacing every true son we just have 2! We play every true son after the touchdown and fight tiger after the field goal or 2 pt conversion. Personally I like every true son more but most ppl prefer fight tiger, either way mizzou should definitely be number 1 on this list but I may be a bit biased

S. Carolina gets to include their chant and Mizzou doesn't? Garbage. I feel like Mizzou's fight song is straight forward where a lot of the others try to do too much musically

Thank you for not overrating A&M. Just because it's unique doesn't make it good. I do think Mizzou is way higher than last, though.

Hearing the Oklahoma fight song reminds me of my favorite wrestling announcer Jim Ross and its tradition like its motto says It just means more cause in the south it

Rolllll Tide. I’d put that one but they’re also my favorite team so I’m biased (I’m a Florida Gator which provides a “conflict of interest” having grown up rooting for Bama my whole life)
All fight songs are different but Texas, west vergina and Tennessee are some of the most different that I have ever herd

Step to the rear is always the best fight song but I will say the old one for USC is pretty good too.

Yeah I know, as I put in the description some of the fight songs here aren’t the official ones but I used rocky top since it’s more recognizable.

How long were you in a coma? Texas and Chokelahoma wanted to leave the Big 12 and asked to SEC commissioner if they can join and they approved it in 2021. They were suppose to start in at 2025 but they got in earlier than expected since the Big 12 got p**sed.
