He was lost. It was very sad.
1 year ago something happened to me on similar extent and i didn't know where to go, whether to sit or stand, whether to cry now or hold myself strong, and the problem is the pain has lessen now but it is still there at a corner making me paranoid about my next future relationship, if any.

Seeing Sheldon hurt crushed my heart. Leonard proved to be a true friend to be supportive when needed and to allow him to have space when needed.
Leonard was a true friend, yes, but when he and Penny broke up, Sheldon made fun of him.

This video would’ve been ruined completely if Howard and Raj were in it because knowing them they would’ve made fun of Sheldon for not just the break up but the fact he hasn’t gotten over it, and then Leonard would’ve told them to knock it off to no avail.
This video really puts sheldon struggles and pain into perspective, being intellectual and not knowing how to deal with emotions. The shows makes it more funny than sad. The background music really makes the feels trip.

I like how they show in this season the human side of Sheldon, the concept of how misunderstood he really is emotional, and how he cope up and try to understand it. We can call it maturity.. but I think for him is more of a realisation that there are thing that are beyond logic. Im happy how the writer put it this way, reminding us that somehow all through out Sheldon's quirks and being special in the previous seasons, he is just as human as we all are.
It's weird seeing Sheldon show actual emotion, him hugging Leonard for comfort at the end was so sweet 😭😭
We really get to see the sensitive emotional side of this adorable character who has made the whole world laugh with his crazy attitude.

It's easy to see if Sheldon is lying or not and whenever you see his emotion you can guaranty its genuine that's why every scene of Sheldon showing his feelings really breaks my heart. 2:42 I think this scene was when Professor Proton died and that hug with Leonard got me.
I’ve said it before and l’ll say it again, Jim Parsons is the reason TBBT was such as success. Without him the show wouldn’t have got beyond 2 seasons. His acting was fantastic for 12 straight years

Sheldon is a strange character. Sometimes he realises he's being narcissistic and other times he doesn't. When it came to his feelings about Amy and how she left, I really think he did want to understand, he just really struggled with seeing her point of view. I think Amy realised in the end in order to be with Sheldon she had to accept who he was and not want she wanted him to be. In the last ever episode when all his friends are threatening to leave and not see him get the Nobel she says "They're abandoning us because you broke their hearts" sheldon says "I didn't mean to" and Amy says "I know. You never mean to. It's the only reason people tolerate you" when Sheldon asks if that goes for her too, she says yeah which confirms she has accepted him for who he is she and she isnt pushing anymore to give her more. I think out of everyone, Penny is the most supportive of Sheldon. She doesn't have an agenda with him and realised early on she has to accept who he is and not demand things from him all the time. I think because Amy is in a relationship with Sheldon, her motivations seem a little pushy when it comes to Sheldon. Normal and completely reasonable for any other guy on the planet, but not Sheldon. Everything that happened in their relationship when it came to milestones needed to be on his terms and I love how the writers remain true to that. They never really back him into a corner and force him to make decisions because of other people.
The problem with that is that EVERYTHING had to be on his terms. Amy never got any room to do much in the relationship other than limit herself to what Sheldon was comfortable doing. They never force Sheldon to make decisions because of other people but they made everyone else do it for him. Backing him into a corner is what makes him grow. Look what happened when Amy broke up with him, it forced him to take a look at himself and see things from other's perspective.

seeing Sheldon hug Leonard made me cry. All I could think about is how difficult it was for him to give hugs.
Sheldon: "Not true. Now, look at me. Yeah, I had an engagement ring to give a girl and instead she rejected me. And am I emotional about that? No, no. I am sitting here on a couch talking about my favorite TV character like nothing happened because I am just like him, all logical- all the time."
Sometimes people are too logical that they often forget that they have feelings and emotions. Sheldon is trying to hide up the fact that he is hurting and playing it off that everything is normal, but when Sheldon raises his voice about getting over Amy and that no one seemed to believe him because they knew that it was all pretense to hide the fact that he was in pain in which he did not know how to cope with.
This truly broke me. Sheldons heart out in his hand and being rejected over and over broke me.
I have seen these episodes countlessly but this video is emotional💔💔

This one. This scene, actually fucking stabbed me through the heart. He’s always so reserved and mechanical. He’s loosing himself here. His emotions leak into his daily life, the way he looked at the camera after shouting at Penny killed me. The way he stared at his figurines when she broke up with him; like they were going to keep him together
As a fan, I'm proud of how sheldon really grew up when Amy broke up with him, it gave sheldon the wake up call he needed and he seemed more mature and in the end of the series he was really making progress and by the looks of it he would continue to do so. Sheldon is my favorite character because you can relate to him either as the smartest one in your group or the one that is continually misunderstood, Sheldon had a real sad part in the series which was when I felt bad for him the most
