True but an advantage of feeding a "high" power device (say a 1W VTX) with high voltage is that you can use a bit thinner wires to the VTX or same AWG with less heat build-up on the cables. Not that is a huge advantage in most cases though.

Definitely higher limit, from two reasons, one is less amps second is more filtering as Joshua mention, especially very important with high output VTX like 1W or more
