My GNB HV 850 4s after 1 month of usage blew up huge, still work 4 months on but they are ballooned to fk. Just got some Coddar ones I didn't realize were HV, been charging as standard lipo, getting same flight time as normal battery so I'm going to keep them charged to 4.21 and see how they go.

I had the same problem and did exactly what Joshua mentioned in this video but it didn't solve it. So... after many many hours i finally was able to find the problem.I forgot that the O3 and probably any other VTX has the RX and the TX inverted (RX O3 to TX FC and TX O3 to RX FC) from your air unit to the FC. That was the reason i had video output but no telemetry OSD. I think that many of us probably make the same mistake. (or at least this was my case)

Skyzone cobra x v4 is my favorite analog goggles under $300. Add the lumenier axii 2 diversity antenna bundle 5.8ghz (rhcp), and you're good to go.

I concur, absolutely; and very good, analogies @Joshua Bardwell Livestream Clips. I went from wings [30 yrs] to quads; mostly 5" Race & 7" LR. I like to acquire the very best of these things [entire builds], and push them to their limits; meaning, I break a lot of sh*t. It's incredible what they can do and I really love flying them. I occasionally have to fetch an LR [love beacons], but the rest of the time, I'm trying not to smash into something [they're F'n fast, scary kind!]. Thank you + FlyTribe and HDZ4Life! 😉

I wish people would stop using FPV the way they do, it literally means First Person View, the Avata 2 does just that so it’s a freaking FPV drone. Is it for freestyle, not really but not everyone just does that or only that. For its use case it’s probably great, I don’t know, I don’t have one. I have a bunch of BNF and personally built FPV quads that are great but I could see where the Avata 2 and others like it would be just fine for people who just want to fly and explore.

The Dji Avata 2 is horrible to repair if you brake the prop guard like i have. if you dont have there protection plan your S.O.L because the prop guard is part of the body itself and can not be replaced without taking apart everything and i mean EVERYTHING!!!. Do not recomend if you are learning manual mode or want to get in to freestyle. FPV is better imo because of easy of repair.

Buy the Avata 2. I did and love it. My use case: filming and inspection of farm and houses at long range. No swoopy loopy stuff for me.

Avata is for the casual FPV pilot, a "real" FPV quad is for the hardcore FPV enthusiasts

Get A ready to fly fpv...start small then move up...nothing is wrong with getting an avata , but trust me , get a small quad with a vista or 03...it dont matter if you a million air...start with 1 before you reach 3 , 4, or 5..it really matters...you will see why my friend

Never would the option be buy an avatar there’s way better Pre built options from GEP RC iflight and so on than a Pre built by DJI

When you get into FPV drones, you are starting between two and three hobbies. 1. Flying drones. 2. Small scale electronics repair. 3. Maybe even 3d printing and machining.

I bought Avata to get into FPV. After I learned some tricks and practiced in a simulator it was just not enough for me. So after a month I built my own 5" quad... now Avata is just sitting on a shelf, catching some dust... 1500 EUR wasted

Doesn't the Avata have an altitude restriction if you want to do any long range flying?

If it's for work and your experience, and time is limited then buy the Avata. If it's for fun and you have the time and experience to build and or repair the five inch, then as a noob still learning, I say welcome to the struggle.

I’ve had 3-4 Walksnail BNF’s and I absolutely love them. They are so much lighter than DJI. I have thousands of flights and reliability has not been an issue at all.

T motor is involved with robotics and automation they do more than just drones. thats why the quality is so good.

I just watched that whole video before this one, and I don't recall Drone Camp mentioned once. I *DO* recall thumbnails for shill videos that looked *ALOT* like Bardwell's thumbnails. And Bardwell is just silly with affiliate links. Bardwell flat out says he won't call a drone/quad trash and always tries to recommend every drone to "somebody". I thought Botgrinder's video was trashing Bardwell. This so very surreal to see.

I have a Bambu p1p. Was impressed with single TPU. Was very disappointed to find out TPU doesn't work with the AMS. I had to buy another printer for multicolor TPU.

There's no US manufactured drones that are fit for purpose in emergency first response applications and it will take many years for US brands to catch up. All this bill will do is deny first responders access to the best technology.

My guess is the sheer ramp up in production to meet the demand in Ukraine has also made consumer prices plummet.
