How about a standard deck big block Chevy or let Fords use a 12" block for 700"+ capacity.

Maybe next time you build some big-inch engines, you tap into the General's BOP monsters. TA Performance has all you need for Buicks, including blocks. Rocket Racing and Performance has blocks n swag for Olds, and Indian Adventures does the same for Pontiac. But likely since Summit doesn't carry any of that, you'll never build them. Oh well...

It depends if you can assemble it yourself. I would hazard $5-7k or a lot more if you pay someone to build it for you. Trick Flow heads are not cheap so outside of machine shop costs that's the biggest cost.

Notice how the Raised Chrysler big block 440 Magnum engine block design that surrounds the crank shaft unlike ford and gm where the engine block ends at the crank shaft center line and the oil pan starts. That makes for a bullet proof bottom end. Remember the Ram chargers kids. Chrysler engineers who raced on the weekends. The other BBC the King is the Hemi which has the raised block and addition too that has cross bolt main caps. Yes guys were running Nitro in these engines at the race track in the 60's. Chrysler Big Blocks rule the race track to this day. Fastest excellerating machines on the planet @ 500 cubic inches.
