Daryl has always been my favorite character so I'm very excited to see this new side of him. I'm intrigued about the Negan and Maggie spin off. I know how well their actors work with each other so I just know it's going to have great 1on1 moments between the two.
As Norman Reedus said in a podcast Daryl dixon spin off will blow your mind because they added new elements in that show that we haven't seen in walking dead and it won't be first time that spin off will be considered better that original show for example Better Caul Saul is considered better than Breaking bad. My main thing with variant walkers are I think it's better when they climb, grab items/weapons, etc but I hate that walkers will run because I think that running zombie type thing needs to stay away from twd. with the walkers in twd, I think what makes them dangerous is when you think you can handle a lot of them, so you let your guard down, and that's when they become dangerous. Running walkers is something I don't wanna see in twd but oh well. If they make running walkers work, that's great, if they can't, then I don't thunk they should've added running walkers

FTWD was great but fell victim to a change of writers, but I think World Beyond and Tales were just an experiment from the AMC production team. I think they got something much better in mind for these spin-offs.

Dead City is acceptable because Negan and Maggie still have room for character development and their chemistry is actually interesting. And Rick & Michonne is definitely a MUST SEE spin-off for multiple obvious reasons. But with this one my biggest fear is Daryl becoming the Dominic Toretto of TWD universe, being this indestructible and fearless action guy with heavy plot armor going on multiple adventures

I know I dont even know all the side stories of the other city with the helicopters and what that is a about. I thoughtnit was the commonwealth but found out its another city. There’s more people in France that speak English than you think. Not every single person is only going to speak French. They’ll have to, not all audience members are going to want to read subtitles for entire episodes.

The prospects of the spin offs is what encouraged me to actually finish the series.
Variant walkers should have always been a thing throughout the whole series but at least they are finally becoming more interesting now.
