Homelander has super hearing and still got walked in on drinking cow milk. Thats how focused he was
He doesn’t use his super hearing full time just when he wants to
yeah i dont really understand his powers sometimes. like wouldnt explosions be damaging to his ears ALL the time?. since they make it out like homelander cant fully control his powers@@FreakoutCentralF
@@FreakoutCentralF those sounds probably are SUPER powerful. Normal supes too have enhanced hearing as see on gen v so homelander probably takes it to an extreme level.
@@bloodyvision2676I think he doesn’t have a choice. He heard A-train and the asking Rodgers to go to commercials
Wanky
why is he the funniest person in the show and also the most terrifying💀
good writing that's how.
Homelander is relatable.
@@totallynotmilessGood acting*
@@NikoAndersson that too.
Because he's a villain duh
Lmao. I like how he encouraging the girl to jump is also "relatable".
so many of you allowed to use the internet lack common sense and have the skull density of a rock. It isn't the act that is relatable it is the feeling. the being over it and unempathetic state of mind after dealing with a mind numbing part of your job for the millionth time. the difference for homelander is you might be stapling or writing a report and he's encouraging a young lady to jump to her death.
gamer moment
Yeah that’s a weird one among a few others
@@h4loisawesomeamong most of them
That's not funny, dude, as someone who has both attempted suicide in the past and known people who tried to kill themselves, telling someone to "Go for it" is not supposed to be seen as funny, or cool, or relatable. He is encouraging a woman to jump to her death because his Nazi squeeze "million dollar babied" herself. He's the bad guy, remember? I've laughed at his lines, Anthony Starr deserves every single bit of his accolades and more, but Homelander is the villain. We want him to fail, remember? Remember all the war crimes, atrocities, and violations of human decency he's done in the past? He's evil, and people shouldn't laughing at him because he's "relatable", we should be scared of him because he would kill us all for laughing at him.
2:45 they way he just quickly speeds up to take the big seat at the table is like a kid wanting to get at the front seat of a car 😂
Great part about that as well is his body language after he loses the chair to Stan... He looks so awkward and uncomfortable that he doesn't even know what to do with himself and that's part of what makes him so terrifying he's a god with mind of a jealous toddler.
@@anonymousnate678 it makes no sense to me tho. i mean he could literally just kill stan at any given moment but yet he chooses to get jealous instead??.
i guess killing someone where their not afraid of you is less satisfying to him.
@@totallynotmiless He would never kill Stan at least not until he got some sort of positive acknowledgement from him. It's the childlike complex of always wanting admiration (or at least attention) for everything he does. Stan Edgar however sees him as nothing more than an inconvenient burden and brushes him to the side which infuriates homelander.
Stan beats Homelander at every turn simply by never giving into that intimidating act everyone else folds to.
Omg you are so right!
Funniest part is he could just dash in the blink of an eye. Remember in diabolical when he took out the criminals guns without them noticing
The nonverbal and verbal emotions Anthony Starr expresses by portraying Homelander is a true master class
He also did show called Banshee back in 2014 ish and he was great. I recommend it his character is sick
@@brahandsickkunt47banshee is an amazing show
When he's chatting to himself in the mirror I remember thinking 'him and Willem Dafoe are some of the few dudes that can pull this off'
"Homelander being relatable for 11 minutes and 34 seconds (S03)"
*shows Homelander milking a cow to get off
are you-are you ok Hylian?
i guess you didn't live on a farm
@@different_stuff I also guess that I’m normal and don’t get any sexual gratification from milking animals
Homelander literally said that she was in pain. He knew how that cow felt by listening to it's heartbeat. What if he milked the cow out of love
He just… likes milk? Nothing
wrong that it!
Breast milk especially
I genuinely think if this version of Homelander had been raised better and had met the right people, he would have been one of the greatest and most ethical superhero.
He would've been Superman. That's the point. Superman is the morally righteous person he is because he was raised lovingly by Ma and Pa Kent.
Had Clark been raised in a lab he would've ended up like Homelander.
Idk, seeing that everyone in his squad is also a scumbag, it is highly improbable you would raise a real hero. The Boys just show the actual guys, those who exist all around us, having powers that don't normally exist. Even if Homelander had a good childhood, in this world he had many chances to turn out corrupted.
@@solidsnake9898 no. Superman is a bland cuck with no personality.
@@meyearsago-lc8bq He's not truly evil. He just lacked love growing up.
@@meyearsago-lc8bqstarlight is good and so is Maeve. I imagine there are many more good heroes who just aren’t interesting for the story.
I think the moment everyone cheered him after he lazered a guy in broad daylight was the MOST relatable thing ever. Loved how Homelander was shocked and confused that his fans still love him. That awkward smile and the "alight" says, "Wow, I'm not the only insane one here."
You can shoot out lazers from your eyes? 💀💀

The Boys is literally the only reason I ever got a Prime subscription in the first place. I can't wait for season 4. The actors are just killing it every episode and it's pure joy to watch.
I don't watch streaming services, barely go to the movies or play video games, but The Boys has had me chomping at the bit. Best cinema since the lord of the rings, the writing, the acting, the scale, and the commentary.
Same only reason
I can't wait for the Blu ray set to come out, definitely buying that. Hopefully season 4 is as good.
Same. I was going to cancel the subscription in-between seasons to save money but I just keep re-watching
@@walterwebb1622 S01 has an ending that make no sense. S02 has a very slow start... TLOTR was way better.
" Sure I'll lose everything, but then I'll have nothing to lose." Yo that's one of the sickest lines I've heard to date
there is no bad scene with this guy. every moment he's onscreen he commands all the attention from the audience
I think the most relatable scene is when Stan Edgar is about to sit in Homelander's chair, and Homelander tries to rush over to it as subtly as possible. 🤣
Dude can zoom through the sky so fast and seeing him run like a normal person feels almost unreal.
Homelander is just living intrusive thoughts
Goddamn, this is perfect.
Like with BoJack?
part of what makes homelander so interesting and entertaining to watch is that anthony starr doesn’t just pull of the psychopathic aspects off the character but also the deeply vulnerable and insecure sides of him that we can all relate to
He found out a bunch of people raised him in a lab and tested a serum on a child that gives him superpowers
@@CornholioPuppetMaster I always thought he was Soldier Boys son and he inherited the powers
at first i thought it was weird that it was called him being "relatable but then i realized homelander is a pretty accurate depiction of a human with mental issue if they got god-like powers
It's weird to call him relatable in most of these clips.
@jessiesargent7212 it's not bc it's not un realistic that this is how someone with powers could behave
@@noechoprime realistic is not the same thing as relatable. There are plenty of shows/movies with realistic villains but relatable? Not unless you are a monster

You're a man-child with a fragile ego?
5:26 when a grown man tells you “yummers “ just know that you have to put yourself in instant fight mode
Why, it means they are looking for a fight?
No, it’s just…weird
How is it bad? I'm not a first english as a language speaker, could you compare it to a word that makes a grown man saying it weird?
The "ohh" noise he makes at 4:58 is one of the best sounds I've ever heard
im just now realizing, aside from kid scenes, homelanders never been in normal clothes
I mean, his suit is obviously custom made with HIS power set in mind. Ordinary clothing would probably shred to pieces during flight.
Plus remember, he’s THE HOMELANDER. He doesn’t have a secret identity, or any interest in doing “normal” stuff. He’s ALWAYS on.
Even tho it was doppelganger that one time, we technically saw him in that cute little lace dress
How does he wear that thing all day?
@@kgpspyguyCorrect me if I’m wrong but I might remember something saying along the lines that Homelander had a secret identity once but eventually stopped using it
That’s cause he haves no real life to go back to ,
Homelander is relatable not because of the psycho behaviors, but the masking your insecurities behind a wall of supposed strength
Homelander is truly just a man with severe fearful avoidant attachment style and no therapist.
Attatchment styles are pseudo psychology
Does this guy know the definition of relatable?
He's telling on himself more than he realizes
i watched this whole thing thinking we need to make sure the creator of this video is placed on the FBI watch list
jump
I could relate to that though.
Lol people that "relate" to homelander and actually believe that will end up suicidal or cause a mass shooting 💀
So relatable when he said he would wipe new york off the map.

Anthony Starr as homelander is the best casting ever. He nails it in every scene.
“I’ll lose everything, but then i’ll have nothing to lose” fucking badass.
The shit they make Anthony Starr do and say in this show is just freaking hysterical. I can’t imagine if Homelander was anyone else. The boys casting director does a phenomenal job.
In all fairness he was made in test tube to replace his dad then was basically raised as a corporate mascot and yeah given his past I think anybody would be fucked up in the head
That's fair enough to be Homelander.
He’s relatable in the fact that he’s done with everyone’s shit lol. The homicidal part is only relatable to us when we’re stuck in rush hour traffic or in the waiting room at the DMV.
If I had superpowers I’d be homelander to
It cracks me up every time homelander starts jogging to try to get to his seat before Edgar
Homelander is the show.
He deserves his own movie.
1:14 he's so real for that😞
Why do all these become funny in the context of relatable instead of the usual context
Dude is so disturbed. You can't help but love him, lol, Antony Starr is master at this role.
It’s crazy how good this show is with all its plot lines and twists but yet through it all homelander is the definitive best thing about the series amongst all it’s positives
2:04 I'm glad to know that getting aroused by milking a cow is relatable.

Yeah he is the show
If I’m not wrong he is the main character I think
I’m worried about how much I relate to a psychopathic murderer
Same
He's just a human with powers in the end
What a hell of an actor he's great.
People act like him milking a cow isn’t a slap to the face to all the people he let die on that plane. That boy got full control over his strength
2:45 absolute gold 🤣🤣🤣
The way Homelander js stares at The Deep with distain is relatable.
Every time I interact with another person, I wish I could do at least half of these. Life is so unfair without being born with godlike powers.
Your comment tells me we're blessed with the fact that you don't.
well that’s concerning
It’s literally fair since no one else has god like powers
I’m sure that’s exactly why we don’t have powers. It would show everyone’s true colors
the problem with youtube comments is there’s a person that says this exact thing as an obvious joke and then there’s a person who is dead serious and doesn’t even understand why what they’re saying is insane and both of these 2 people are just as likely to exist
I have watched the series from start to finish twice and I still don't know if I hate Homelander, pity him or want him to succeed. The man just seems genuinely happy when people show him love and affection.
Give the man an Emmy please
He won one
When Homelander finally snaps in the next season or two, it is going to be freaking insane.
the cow scene, very relatable
His reaction to the deep is crazy😭 Imagine being so terrible that HOMELANDER hates being around you
"11 minutes of Homelander being relatable." and it's just 11 minutes of him being absolutely psychotic. It's moments like this when I'm glad the FBI is spying on us.
If this character is relatable to you, you might be a sociopath.
I like how his most wtf moments aren't even his threats, or kills....it's the milk
As someone who was forced to be lonely by his father pretty much most of the time i kinda relate to a lot of the feelings homelander subconsiously expresses, but hes still an unrepetant sociopath for sure. Luckily i got a lot of that out in my 20s and i stopped being so mad at everything all the time. Its not worth it. Its exhausting. But his attitude and actions make a lot of sense for someone with limited empathetic skill learning through childhood. Being forced to be alone during that stage of your life prevents you from building up those nuerons that tell you not to be this way and its shockingly replicable.
I'm a sociopath. My parents where awful malignant narcissists. Every one of my achievements went into their cabinet of trophies. When I won, THEY won something. Lauding it over the neighbors and their kids. It's strange, to say the least. No love, no compassion.. Just pressing disappointment after disappointment. Molding, and sculpting, until my own pain turned to indifference.
It’s the acting . It’s spectacular
God, I’m so toxic. I love him
2:30 that part should have a record scratch sound 😂
5:12 how does he do all those facial expressions it's incredible
Everyone has had to drink milk straight from a cow udder in order to soothe their horniness and then got caught in the process at least once in their lives.

It's only when you've lost everything that you're free to do anything
The face he pulls at 0:03 when he sees the deep 😂
I too relate to a murderous psychopath
Ya know, I always feel like destroying New York when I get exposed.
He need some milk
The freshest.
Superman’s weakness is Kryptonite
Homelander’s weakness-is when people stop loving him, respecting him, and stop fearing him.
So relatable! Reminds of that the time I murdered innocent people for a short-lived power trip!
Oh, you do that too?
You we're in Iraq?
1:33 quite literally every teacher when you try to correct them 💀
I think about the way he says “yummers” and that face me makes every time I eat junk food. Then I feel terrible about myself
Make another of him being relatable but just 11 minutes of him killing people.
A legit story with just homelander would be dope asf
Well he is the most relatable person in the show for me.
The cow part was the most relatable
Anthony star is so good as homelander because of this role I need him to be the next reverse flash I see it
1:25 Bro, the most agonizing moment I ever seen💀💀
Antony Starr needs an Emmy. Problem is, the more the show goes on, he might get burned out on his performance as the character (I really hope this isnt the case!)
I glad to know this channel also relates to Homelander milking a cow and drinking the milk
Thanks for the video.
Ozai to Azula after Sozin’s Comet: 9:56
Yeah so relatable. I love drinking milk straight from the feet of the cow.
Was unsure if I could relate but with 8:14 definitely
He’s so VILLAINOUS
I’m a bit like homelander I just don’t kill people. But not many people like me bc I’m blunt and come off as cold.
1:14 this is one of those moments
2:03 Glad to be of service. Probably the most relatable for all of us here.
Homelander the embodiment of intrusive thoughts

Okay, I’ll rewatch it. Again!
Amazing actor
Homelander being a menace to society
Such a great performance
2:16 Did he have to make the face though 😂😂😂😂
That actor is just amazing
I wouldn’t necessarily call him: Relatable.
The cow scene was by far the creepiest and the funniest scene he did by himself
@6:02 that you right there deserves all the award in the world.
I do happen to be stronger, smarter, and better than everyone else. I’m just like him
I always found Homelander sympathetic in the sense I feel sorry for him but on no levels relatable at all. He's clearly meant to be understood but never excused. How does anyone find him relatable?
Probably neglected kids in foster system etc.
the idea is that he has relatable moments, not that his entire story is relatable. The video doesn't really do a good job with the premise, but I think a lot of people could relate to his trauma and some of the less insane ways he's been twisted.
@@Wveth Okay that makes sense.
