- Heard in Woody Allen's ANOTHER WOMAN (1988) as Gena Rowland's "Love Theme." Though not literally the same recording used in the film, it is the same Debussy-influenced interpretation of Satie's original piece.
"Another Woman" is a spectacular film. And this beautiful haunting soulful music is perfect for Marion's theme.
Gena Rowlands is absolutely perfect in this movie, I want to see her earlier work especially the films she made with John Cassavetes. Gene Hackman was so tender and insightful, I wanted to be him and express myself in such a profoundly moving way to a woman like Gena Rowlands' Marion.
Absolutely love this music, and it's work perfectly in the film. In my opinion woody allens most underrated film :)
This is one of my favorite pieces of music. . .
Thank you. Really this is sophisticated film
Brillante película, y excelente pieza musical. Gracias.
Beautiful ❤️
Hermoso!!! Gracias por compartirlo. :)
Excelente pelicula
I too prefer the orchestral version to that which focuses on the piano lead.
Ho visto questo film quando è uscito in Italia. L ' ho subito considerato un capolavoro , uno dei film della mia vita . Ma anche la critica lo ha subito considerato tale, un capolavoro, quindi non underrated
I thought this sounded different from the movie. Well, I've never heard a bad version of this piece.
Same wonderful music was used on the brazilian film “Limite”, from 1931(the first known use in a film).
I believe this is actually No. 3 not 1
Claude Debussy orchestrated this.
