ANOTHER WOMAN (1988) - Satie's "Gymnopedie No. 1" (aka "Marion's theme")

Heard in Woody Allen's ANOTHER WOMAN (1988) as Gena Rowland's "Love Theme." Though not literally the same recording used in the film, it is the same Debussy-influenced interpretation of Satie's original piece.

Gena Rowlands is absolutely perfect in this movie, I want to see her earlier work especially the films she made with John Cassavetes. Gene Hackman was so tender and insightful, I wanted to be him and express myself in such a profoundly moving way to a woman like Gena Rowlands' Marion.

Ho visto questo film quando è uscito in Italia. L ' ho subito considerato un capolavoro , uno dei film della mia vita . Ma anche la critica lo ha subito considerato tale, un capolavoro, quindi non underrated
