5¢ Mystery Liquor in Myanmar
Imagine a dude from Myanmar traveling to some small town in Ohio and just filming himself walking around drinking Coors Lights. I'd watch that too.
Imagine taking them to Cyraxx's house
Cyraxx? Is that yhd guy who used to post mermaid videos, it was cyraxx and flyraxx?
@@johnnybravo9096 No, you're thinking of a different person. Cyraxx, aka Chance Wilkins is a Goblin-like human from Akron, Ohio. He's what people call a "lolcow." There's tons of information and documentaries about him on youtube. I must warn you, it's a huge rabbit hole that you might find yourself sucked into for a while.
@@jazzfeline5970 here's the thing marty.....you sent, meeanmar assassins to my fkin house you vitch

How you’re still with us is beyond me. So trustworthy.
I watched these videos in reverse order, the fact that you said you’d go with Dan for 20 minutes and ended up on that whole adventure makes it even more hilarious
Same here bro 😂
@@dosamtabuu5185 Lol when he showed up i was like no way!.
Hahaha dude when he pulled up 🤣
Lmao same I cheered when Dan pulled up. And that foreshadowing with “please don’t crash” 😂
Exactly 😂😂😂 I am hooked after that 100%
I was in Myanmar back in 2019, and had many experiences just like this! The country is still one of the most interesting places that I have ever visited. That's probably because the experience is so raw and real, and the original culture and tradition have not been eroded by tourism.
100% agree still the gem if south East Asia in my opinion loved my time in Myanmar!
What's a man have to do to go to Myanmar other than buy a ticket? Do I hire a guide or something? I'd love to go myself, but its mad intimidating.
I ask you the same question.@@jamiebrooke622
@@JohnSmith-xk5ou There's an ongoing civil war so not the best time to visit but after the war you should definitely try to visit. The country is very welcome to foreigners
Oh tysm I am 🇲🇲 and I am glad that like my lifestyle 😌
This Myanmar series is so good, I generally dont get how it hasnt got millions of views
Agreed I could watch this for hours
I'm from Myanmar and
Only a few people know our country so even if a vlog is so good there's only local people and a few from foreign watch it
Well when I tell people I am from Syria and they say cereal that kinda tells you how little they know of the world 😂😂😂😂
so true, I am Burmese and I am binge watching the series right now :)
Well cause it’s Myanmar.

They complain 😃
Not many tourists have travelled as deep as you have into Myanmar... this journey is awesome!!!
Me and my boys was doing crack in the gutters of myanmyar. All itching and twitching. Cool place
@@pipsapossu1699lol that's awesome
man this looks like the perfect vacation, day drinking in a rustic village with lush nature, hearing only the calming sounds of the birds and insects, and ocasionally a conversation or a scooter passing by. if i knew where this was i would go there and just do nothing but sit outside and take it all in
Dan -"I have a lot of friends. If you want to be happy, you can follow me" so this is how the great snake Island adventure began 😅😬🤣
Classic
Man you're so down with whatever 😂 glad to see travelers like you still come and enjoy the good things in Myanmar. Hope you had a fun stay 💯
Sometimes I’m a little too down 😂
@@SmallBrainedAmerican i remember when my brother and his friend went off to north-central Myanmar... way off the beaten path, were out of internet range for weeks. that was when the typhoon hit... was devastating i guess but he was hundreds of miles north of it and safe, but we had no idea.
he was probably just chilling like you were, said he smoked a lot of child-rolled cigarettes
You survived the drunk Myanmar Uber and the pineapple mystery liquor and now I'm a subscriber for life. What a good video.
Pains me to watch this. I spent 3 months in SE asia in 2007.. bloody loved it. Most friendly people ever, cheap booze, great food, lovely scenery, great weather.

You can tell with the guy who brought you to drink the liquor that he was saying how bad his alcohol addiction actually as to where he was somberly saying that he drinks about 20 things of dirt, cheap piss liquor a day and how it’s affected, his breath and his teeth (pairing with a Bettle nut addiction) and even his voice. He even says it is bad when he doesn't get a drink and obviously is slower cognitively. I hope that this man can find some help to be honest. Edit: was using speech to text so I cleaned up the language. I was making a speculation, but I think that this is the right assertion.
You said "kind of" many times in this paragraph, threw me off.

I love the people of Burma. Had two weeks there back in 1996. Rangoon, Mandalay and Bagan. I will never forget! What a strange but friendly country it was.
Myanmar is my home country and I haven't visited in about 4 years. Me and my family went every year or so but we haven't gone since the coup has began. This video was really entertaining and it helped me to see my home country again.
I love finding new channels. This guy is great. Real, positive and chill. So good
More people need to see you videos, man. These are the best travel videos I've seen. I love the interactions with the everyday, local people. Good stuff here, man.

I like how you roll brother! A true wandering spirit. Your kindness protects you.
13:21 the legend Dan appears, like finding a diamond in life a true honest person willing to share local happiness
This guy should get a million subscribers because his adventures make me sick, even though a local can't relax at that time. You're crazy enough to have some bravery in the midst of unsafe cities in Burma.
😢
Yes bro
Unsafe country myanmar.
Because is in the war
Bingo!
😅
Love your open and unbiased way of exploring- awesome and somehow pretty brave!
Best youtuber I've stumbled upon in a long time. This is my first video I've seen. You talk naturally and don't put up a YT persona, plus you remind me of many of the awesome people I met in hostels over the years. Keep the videos comin!
Damn I wanna crowd fund dental work for that guy who drove you on the moped. seems a genuine guy
Loved that video. Interesting to see a different people and culture. They all seemed so nice and welcoming. I think it would be pretty cool to vacation there.
Love your videos. I just visited Southern India last month and I can relate so much with what you say. Brave man eating the street foods!
Great vlog. It brings back memories of how hospitable and friendly the people of Myanmar are. I loved my time there and hope the country resolves its major issues.
i really enjoy your behavior and communication style
Love from Myanmar 🇲🇲
Dan is honest and awesome,I love that character very humble and entertaining
I love this channel. Thanks for sharing your travels with us.👍

Absolutely loving the Myanmar videos!! Hoping for a bunch more 🙏 Stay safe🤙
Thanks my brotha!
Myanmar people are humbled, gentle,Good Samaritan, love them…. From Thailand…
I’ve been binging all your videos. They are great. Thank you
Sir, your thoughts & gestures remind me of my son. I enjoyed watching you react with the locals in a place I will never be able to visit. Thank you for the "trip" to Myanmar!
Dude these people are cool asf. Generally its the poorest who would reach out with an open heart and the rich would very rarely extend a gesture of friendship. Stay safe.
vibe checking with " coffee or some juice?" and the reaction from the homeboy when you replied "Beer" 🔥😁😁😆
I'm a fan of your travels, much love from Philippines.
Thank God
You just got back your distination safely. You have been so brave.
Man, this was the nicest video ever. I first watch the 2nd video with this guy, and i wonder how you met him. I just figured out how you met this guy. He came from nowhere with his bike, and you went places together, which is awesome.
Dude, I just found your channel after getting bored of watching Drew Binsky, great content! I love the “fuck it, let’s do it” vibe, I’m shocked you don’t have more subscribers!! Keep it up 🎉

Such an amazing place. I love the mix of town and forest, it's so vibrant and full of life.
I just found you’re yt channel man and I’m Binge watching all of them. Love what you do bro. And Dan the man is a legend
thank you so much brother
Subscribed. This is gold. I was planning on moving to Thailand within the next few years, but now I'm just dying to go after watching these.. ✌
I love how you say yes to everything, it's so refreshing and inspiring
Dude, you're brave going with the flow like that. On one hand I'm inspired, I want to solo travel and drink with randoms in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand, my anxiety is through the roof watching you do it.
On one hand I want to believe that the majority of people in any country are good, but goddamn I never would've hopped onto the back of a motorcycle of a random man in the street who invited me to go drinking haha
I mean theres literally a raging civil war going on between junta forces and "revolutionist". I have seen many many videos of executions, fights, kidnappings and so on. This for me would be reason alone to not travel myanmar.
@@OfficialPepeyeah and not to mention the cobras and jungles full of old landmines lol.

Thailand is a great place to experience what you've described. I was the for 6 weeks and rarely have I ever been treated so well. The locals even bought me drinks. I only spent 3 days in Bangkok, the rest of my time was spent in small cities and towns. As a female solo traveler, it felt totally safe. I had to go to Cambodia to renew my visa, and it gave me bad vibes- so I wasn't being totally naive. I totally recommend doing it if you have the means.
I'm so glad you said yes to hanging out with Dan. This is one of the funniest things I've watched in a while. Legendary!
Wow this is the coolest travel Chanel I've ever seen. That go with the flow attitude I wish I had. I would have had a panic attack driving with that guy.
'What is my life?" More exciting than most of ours!
For sure he's the town drunk who never stops talking
Wow, you are in deep here pal ! Kudos to you for trusting people - it’s scary when in a foreign place but can be so memorable if you go for it 👍
I can't even imagine being that CALM AND CHILL walking around by myself in such a foreign country 😂 some countries are actually dangerous for me as an american female, but this place looks AWESOME
Bro I love your videos. No TV travel documentary could ever capture these experiences
I love your vibe, man! Its the kind of place I would like to visit!
Went there in 2006. Had a similar experience. Nothing has changed. Good times :)

man thank you so much for the 2 videos of you meeting & greeting with drunk dan! i just found your page today & been binging like a tv show thank you for all the adventures keep it up man🙏🏽
Wow ,you are brave. But love living the adventure thru you!
I did some voluntary work in Myanmar a few years ago. The people in the area of Mawlamyine had never seen tourists as us. It was an amazing adventure.
I have a similar story. The locals had never had foreigners visit their neck of the woods before. Before we left they even had someone print up posters memorializing it. This was is 2017 and a lot has changed since then. I doubt we'd ever gain access to the area today.
@@skjekkenwow! Very nice to hear. Its a memory forever, for them but also for us.
What foreshadowing! I watched the Snake Island video first. Damn, no foot pegs, don't crash! 4 hours later, still no foot pegs and crashed 3x.
This video couldn’t be a better advert for a properly authentic travelling experience. The way Dan just appears out of nowhere promising a mysterious journey and the fact Connor surrenders to this opportunity without a second thought. I did SE Asia a few years back and whilst it’s a beautiful place, it’s encounters like this that make life what it’s all about. Many other vloggers might have turned Dan away thinking he was asking for money, but Connor keeps the cam rolling and we are given such a rare and exciting insight to this man’s lifestyle. Thank you Connor!! Your stuff is my favourite content online atm, inspirational 😁
Is it possible to make a one off donation?
As a first time viewer this series seems great so far
Feel like Dan is the kind of man that works just so he can afford to drink. The unease on peoples faces when he shows up, although, maybe it was because of your camera, is very interesting. Best of luck to him.
He is always drunk there, that’s probably why
Dan is an honest soul. His English is great and he is not dumb, just has an addiction. I think they were just uneasy because of that tall white boy and the camera. Not everyone wants to be filmed like an animal in the zoo. The first "bar" was also filthy and people were having lunch in the back where the beer fridge was. The back of the bar is basically their home. Dan knows them and their circumstances but the question is whether they wanted Connor to see their situation or not.
@@crunchipscrustWhat are you on about? Your whole reply is moot.
Not only did I not suggest he was a dumb person, but neither did the other person...
I'm acutely aware their behavior is probably because of Connor and him filming. I even semi-addressed it in my comment, "maybe it was because of your camera". I picked up on the fact that he probably knew them when he said, "I have a lot of friends", and went to the first bar, and introduced the guy that they were riding with later on "he is my friend."
My whole comment was referring to the scene of them two at the fist bar anyway....
Guarantee you wont be a well kept secret on CZcams for long. Love the vids as always!
He used to have more views and subscribers but CZcams screwed him over. Think it was because of some of his content, cursing.
Thanks for the kind words my brotha

ive recently moved out of myanmar and seeing this video makes me miss my 12 years of living there
ah you should come back phucc nigguh :D
The alcohol you drank is called ဇေ (zay), it is cheap and some people make it with fruit flavors like pineapple and tamarind but you will probably feel the scent rather than taste. And yes, it is super strong.
Can you tell me how it is made ? I have lots of pineapple .in my garden.
Naaaaa. Don't get motivated. It is just plain alcohol with a scent; Not a real wine-like thing.@@itchyballs3129

Hey, you're living the real life, man. Stay safe and respectful, and all will end well. Looks like quite the adventure. Sometimes you have to trust the locals and experience life as they do to really get the "feel" of it all.
I think you pulled up with the town skallywag

How do locals feel about foreigners travelling to Myanmar now? I have visited your beautiful country three times (all before 2021) and long to return. The main thing keeping me from going back is locals who might think "How could you visit here at this time?"

How he is even alive drinking like that an riding a scooter. Last time I was coming back on my bicycle drunk I collapsed at the slow turn and fell on my hip, which was already bruised. Slow turns are the worst when you are drunk - no problem going straight with a moderate speed.

In the 1990s the bus from Yangon to Mandalay was nothing like these VIP ones. Overnight, open windows (to spit) , American country western on the tape machine( the Burmese are very musical), the road pothole city reducing speed, two lanes barely. Another bus ride, out of Ngapali Beach back to Pyay, was aged, out of the 50s or 60s maybe. Only a few of us gringos on initially. At the first rest stop we returned from tea to find the entire bus filled to the base of the seats with burlap bags of dried fish or shrimp. Nowhere for our legs, the stench strong. One room was only USD $.75, others in the $5-7 range. Didn’t care for Connor hooking up with the boozer. It can be dicey but Connor is young.
