Kicked off the Train at the Turkish Border!
23:05 Kid released a bird to fly right as you said that in the background there. 🙌
Poetic
This particular video was quite synchronistic.
yeeted a pigeon
In turkish culture it means freedom. That guy went out from jail, and he celebrates with giving a pigeons freedom.
Bro… My jaw literally dropped and it’s still dropped when that car made a u turn on the off ramp and drove right by you 😂😂
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Legend say his jaw is still dropped to this day. 😂
He drove down an on ramp lmfao!
Lol. They probably thought that was the actual exit for Istanbul.
Bahahaha
As someone who's done his fair share of hitchhiking, I can suggest not standing right before the intersection where there's one lane to drive off to the destination. People rarely stop there due to limited space.
Yup, gotta go back furthur from the immediate exit/on ramp where theres a shoulder or some space for someone to actually stop.
Dude, this is the exact definition of "where there is a will there is a way".
New favorite channel. Keep it up buttercup.
Thanks daddy 🙏
As early as I can remember my mom told me where there’s a will there’s a way, and I’ve seen it personally work almost every time. She also would say never accept no or I can’t from someone, there’s always a solution
I love how she looks at her dad after he says hes from USA lol. Its like she was thinking oh dad you hate those americans dont you? lmao
I don't think that was her dad little kid
..how naive you are
@@sjohnson5813 better to be naive than a huge dickhead
More like Daddy
i was also thinking does he have a hot wife. or a nice doughter.... ( i am also naive )
Bro, idk why but im addicted. Just randomly came across your video a week ago and now im literally breezing through them everyday.
Literally me yesterday
I love your sense of humor 😂 and love how real your portrayal of travel is. You’re not sugar coating or glamorizing anything.
Right haha 😂
I like seeing the world through his camera
such an underrated vlog. This was quite intense imo. I have a feeling this channel is going to blow up soon
You understand that passing a border with a hitchhiker is a big no no. Your chances were slim to none. Good video tho!
Lesson learned lol
@@SmallBrainedAmerican Yeah man I mean you were basically asking a Bulgarian citizen to partake in human trafficking/people smuggling to a country they're most likely not authorised to be in themselves lol.
They could just dropped him off at border crossing and he goes through immigration on his own and get another ride inside Turkey
I just had my first solo trip as a backpacker to Turkey recently, and your journey and your spirit made me miss that trip already!
Good luck for the rest of your journey!
You should be very grateful for that Turkish customs officer for letting you in that way
Just discovered your channel the other day and I cant stop bingewatching your videos!!!! Love how real they are and your sense of humor. You are very brave!
I haven’t laughed so hard in forever bro especially when that car teased you an went the wrong way on the freeway had me lmao 🤣
keep going man what a journey
thank u my brotha
I had a very similar experience while on a train from Dresden to Prague back in 2006. I attempted to cross into Czech with a Eurailpass (which I knew did not cover Czech at that time but was going to play stupid). I got caught and the ticket inspector kept shouting "YOU GET OFF - NEXT STOP!" (Which was at the border of Czech and Germany - in the middle of the night). Oddly enough, he wanted Czech Crowns and not Euros - and so I went thru the entire train until someone lent me some Crowns. lol
I'm proud of you Connor. You went through all of this shit to do what you want to do and this is so awesome dude. Mad respect.
Been binge watching your journey. This belongs in the travel channel. Awesome
Amazing!! Dude, Connor! Keep it up! I could watch your adventures nine stop! And I have been, (Myanmar trip is my favorite so far). I’m more captivated by your interactions with the locals than the locations Lol. I hope you do this again please! The internet needs more of your adventures!
This is probably something I would have done if I missed my connection, moreso if I was your age. I hitchhiked all over Scandinavia, a band from Bulgaria in a minivan saved my life in the arctic circle, I hitchhiked from Copenhagen to Germany with a truck driver and then once I hit Deutschland I hitchhiked a lot. I went with the flow, but the rest of Europe seemed less enthusiastic about picking up people in winter so I stopped. Dude, I haven't laughed so hard at some of your comments and predicaments and incredible vlogs. Thank you for the reality check. I will probably just stay home and live vicariously, some of these places I have thought to travel don't look quite as appealing. For me, the food and meeting kind people is enough.
Following your travels, favorite new channel! Also, the people that gave you a lift to the major junction from the gas station are total sweethearts!
I love this shit. Your vlog is one of the best on CZcams. What a great experience, and just love how you just take it in your stride. I have been watching these goe days
Dude, you're a breath of fresh air.. Thank you

This man is a legend. I wouldn't have been able to handle that.
You and @sabbatical should link up and do some videos. Your guys compliment each other well. Real raw informative. No fluff and bs like the bald guy, the Norwegian and the preppy South African
I've been binging your channel and seriously wish i had been here from the beginning! Either way, Glad you made it to Japan and thanks for the amazing insight!
had a coworkers son get hit by a car on a bike it knocked him off road onto a moving freight train he was ontop unconscious thank god as the train traveled drivers started seeing him ontop of freight train and were able to stop it and get him to hospital he recovered
Found this channel totally by accident but I love it. I have a yen for travel especially for Japan but for now I’ll live vicariously through you. Keep doing your thing!
As someone who has hitch hiked alot. You wanna find a place where people can pull over safely. The bus stop would jave been better. Get it!
This is so cool! I was in Sofia a few months ago on my own 4 month European trip. Crazy the shit you can go through while traveling. Thanks for posting your videos.
Your videos are so good! Keep up the good work and keep going!!
This guy, always keeping it real ¡ Istanbul is among my top visits 👍
I got recommended your channel! Subbed. I'm gonna binge-watch your videos! (Also, you resemble MrBallen, a little 😅)
He definately does - even the way he speaks is similar. He deseves just as many subs too!

your videos are addicting i cant stop watching it now
Sir, you are so brave and courageous.🎉😊.
I love these videos .Glad i found your channel ... Alot better then some of the more popular. " travel vloggers "
I used to hitchhike in the 80's (when it was more common), for some reason the first ride was always the hardest, after that, for some unexplainable reason, it became easier. Maybe it was just confidence, maybe it was me fooling myself. But one thing i learnt quickly: Have a motorcycle helmet on display because motorcyclists are always flattered, and happy to help.
Great video. I love that you generally seem to have no idea about the countries you visit. Like asking Indians, "Why are there cows here on the streets". I guess that's because your American. I also love that you genuinely seem to be on a budget, it makes your travel more interesting. Also, you seem like a great bloke. Happy travels, thanks for the great videos.
Love this channel.
Hilarious...love the content...hope you get lots of Patreon or whatever to fund your next several VLOGS. entertaining, weird, wild stuff. Glad I found it. You're at 132K,,,it can be 500K before no time. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful journey bro
I watch lots of vloggers..this guy..real deal
@5:53 "Not a serial killer, just a one time thing" 😂as in?
awesome. love your videos
I love this so much!!
Blind faith and optimism prevails!
You are awesome..."ignorant tourism and blind faith and optimism...prevails.."
You’re a fuckin trooper 👊🏼
and ur a legend 👑
Wow! That really hit me when your eyes got watery right at the time the call for prayer was telling "allahu akbar", which means "god is the greatest".
Dude, I’ve just discovered your channel. Think about this way: that you missed the train that night might have prevented you from being a victim in the explosion area in Istanbul somehow.
"Tie me up in a trunk and take me to Istanbul" should be on a t-shirt
You should’ve stayed at the stand the couple left you at imo😂😂😂I’m to risk averse when it comes to walking in foreign countries highways so close to the vehicles. The stand afforded you “shelter,” space for vehicles to pull off, and maybe a bus come by sometime too
Whoa, this could've become "Midnight Express 2" if only you'd scored some hash and tried to hide in in your backpack! LOL!
I love your channel
Your comments are too relatable 😂 crack me up the whole video 😂💀💀
great vids
The brown hair ride girl was ready to go when she heard US...
You are an inspiration
The girl in the green dress is stunning
I know right? I wonder if she was that guy's daughter or sugar baby.
dahmer refferance was hilarious lol
Bro the car pulling a u and drives past you 🤣🤣🤣
the mugshot HAHAHAHHAHA
Bloody amazing bro. Yeeehaa
I missed my train in Bulgaria in a very similar fashion!! I had to bribe and shit to get my stuff back.
Ah just popped into my head you remind me of the comedian Alex Stein! Keep doing what you’re doing love your comedic style, very refreshing !
Bro 😂😂 you are awesome brother funny stuff.
I hitched rides in USA and Europe. It's tough
this man getting like 20k subs a week, but soon he will be getting 100k subs a week
that guy that tricked you think he was gonna give you a ride and then went the wrong way was the best part
They dropped you at a bus stop and you walked awy from it
I would pick you up, but that mustache makes me worried 🤣
Thanks - fun channel...
Should buy a hammock 😉
Bahaha, excellent idea actually
I would pick you up and drive you across the ocean to instanbul! Also are you really from Milwaukee? Awesome
oh men your vlogs are the best . love it , greetings from Costa Rica . you´re welcome btw 🇨🇷🍺.
You fly by the seat of your pants like someone else we know! Good luck!
That ramp was the worst possible place to hitchhike :D
awwhhhhw the water has BUBBLES!
I would be crazy to pick you up!!
I had a good friend from Sofia. The stories! Those babushkas aren't just using those gnarly canes to help them along..They use them to inflict pain by skipping them hard along the ground, the ends bouncing back and forth until they reach the shins of their intended target. Ha RIP Theo Minev, you had some great insights and stories from Sofia.
agh dude those hitchhiking spots were terrible :D
Dahmer was my brother's Fakebook photo for years!
As an American. never ask if it is okay to tip. It is extremely rude. Just hold out money and try to give it to them and if they refuse, just be on your way. Nothing worse than someone acting coy and seeing if it is okay to tip rather than outright offering money.
You can't compare shitty US tip culture to europe
What a legend
